Starting this early as going to be a busy day Tuesday. First up Bolton play port vale rivals from last seasons league 2 compaign. A mad game at the unibol which port vale won 6-3 and a memorable 1-0 win for Bolton at vale park with a goal from Gethin Jones. A great opportunity imo to have a cup run and trip to Wembley. The fixtures are in Bolton's favour, next up Liverpool u21s at home so hopefully Bolton will have qualified by the time they play Rochdale away. The incentive for winning the group is a home game in the knock out phase. 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw. If the match ends a draw then a penalty shootout for a 2nd point. Early team news. A short term Kieran Lee injury adding to the current injured list of Edwards, Amaechi, Bakayoko. I've long since given up what the rules are for picking a side in this fixture relating to the last game. I'm expecting a mixture of first teamers who didn't start Saturday gilks, brockbank, Gordon, Thomason, Delfounso, Baptiste, Tutte, Kachunga plus young pros senior, colvin and fitzmartin and some of the u18s. Some who played on Saturday will have to be on the bench which may include will Aimson who could make his debut. Free ticket in hand thanks to the season ticket holders offer who waived the last 5 games of the covid season. I will be sat in the lofthouse lower. 7pm kick off.
Transfer Deadline Day. Possible ins a striker on loan until January. Possible outs. Ali Crawford, Brandon Comley either to another club or come to agreement and made free agents.

Another one of our young players sent out on loan which is right as it gets them to play men's football. Leaves a big gap between the first team and u21s. Not heard any news of a central league yet. The squad players will get off the bench sometimes, come in for injured players, get game time in the EFL trophy and FA cup. There is an under 18s side so everything covered as it is.

I still can't comprehend why we haven't had any local B team games against clubs who are a short bus or train ride way, afternoon games would do to save on the leccy bills.
The B team needs be match fit and ready when called upon.

No football today so a competition played in 1945 between 4 clubs. The north semi final Bolton Wanderers v Manchester United and Chelsea v Millwall.

There's always football somewhere Benny. I watched Josh Sheehan come on as sub for Wales on S4C. Which is fully in Welsh. (apart from Adverts).
John Hartson made more sense at half time in Welsh than he usually does.

Dropped a place
A win on Monday would be most welcome after a boring Saturday.

If we win tomorrow we would be in the third spot in the table. Wouldn't that give everybody a massive lift?
We are at home so we only have to beat Burton Albion and we will be going onwards and upwards.

It took Wales 90 seconds to lose the lead, he might get on soon.

Sheehan didn't get on in that must win game but Wales had the nerves going just like being at home in BL6
