It's a good record, I didn't say it wasn't. But many seem to hold it up as 'see, see, Ronaldo is the greatest'. Ronaldo is unreal but the international bit is probably the least impressive part of his whole career outside of highlighting his amazing fitness/shape.

You could actually look at it and say it's the most impressive part of his career actually. Many of the top strikers and forwards have around a 1 in 2 record at international level. Ronaldo used to have this but since his 30's he's actually improved his strike rate. At an age where many other players retire internationally to prolong their club careers, Ronaldo continues his and gets better at it, and still keeps the goals coming at club level.

Exactly. If it was that easy to score against fodder in Europe how come no one else currently playing is near 111 international goals?

I don't know why everybody makes such a big deal out of the international thing. 37 of those goals have come against Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Andorra, Faroes, Luxembourg and Armenia.
