Say what you want about Chelsea being financially doped, but money is only part of the story. Anothet huge reason for their success has been the proactiveness of Roman Abramovich as an owner. The guy just does not hesitate to take difficult decisions when needed. Look at last season, he got rid of Lampard without blinking because it wasn’t working out and they went on to win the CL. Sacked AVB after 7 and a half months because it was the wrong appointment and he didn’t needlessly drag it along. If the scenes that took place at the new stadium yesterday happened at Stamford Bridge the Chelsea manager would have been relieved of his duties this morning and rightly so. Sometimes an appointment is just the wrong fit. That’s not neccesarily the manager’s fault, but there’s just something not right about it. This is one of those times. Nuno is a dead man walking now and keeping him is just delaying the inevitable. Just for once I wish the club would actually be decisive about something.

Reports suggesting that he may get the boot today...

I reverse jinxed it 😂

Said yesterday that the game may end up a victory in disguise for spurs.
On a serious note though it's a complete contrast of footballing clubs ambitions if Spurs sack Nuno for getting 15 points having played City, Chelsea, Arsenal United. But United allow a 5-0 loss at home to Liverpool and we've only played them and Spurs from the "Big 6" and have 17 pts.
Spurs (no offense) have more ambition than United now, it's ludicrous how the standards are dropping to protect Solskjaer.

It is the stats that are damning for Nuno, we are bottom or close to bottom of almost every stat, who we have played is irrelevant, we don't look like improving and are worse than under Mourinho and Mason.

"Will the process to appoint Nuno have outlasted his time as manager?"

I wonder how many managers we can alienate in our next manager search.
