Roman wouldn't have sanctioned Nuno

Yeah but he has sanctioned his fair share of terrible managerial appointments - but he’s always taken swift action to rectify his mistake - something we need to do at the moment.

Levy has probably been just as ruthless in the past when you scale it to resources.

Jol sacked for a poor start to a season after two 5th place finishes with painfully average squads.

Ramos sacked the season after your only trophy this millennium.

Redknapp sacked after two top four finishes out of three.

AVB sacked after his first blip.

Pochettino sacked shortly after a UCL final appearance.

Chelsea in the main have top players, and their managers are backed accordingly so anything less than trophy wins is unacceptable.
Our mentality does not even come close. Different worlds.

Levy has sacked managers for way less than what Nuno is serving up, so it is hard to understand why Blofeld is yet to act. It is not going to improve under Nuno, so why is Levy waiting, it will probably be a financial reason and Levy will be having cold sweats at the thought of spending money.

I will agree with you on most of those, but Ramos had us at 2 points from 8 games, a league cup is irrelevant at that point. Besides we replaced him with Harry Redknapp and qualified for the Champions league the following season so I think that is the single one instance that Levy called correctly

You mentioned that Roman was ruthless in sacking AVB after nearly 8 months in charge and yet bemoan Levy for not getting rid of Nuno in less than half that time.

Said yesterday that the game may end up a victory in disguise for spurs.

On a serious note though it's a complete contrast of footballing clubs ambitions if Spurs sack Nuno for getting 15 points having played City, Chelsea, Arsenal United. But United allow a 5-0 loss at home to Liverpool and we've only played them and Spurs from the "Big 6" and have 17 pts.

Spurs (no offense) have more ambition than United now, it's ludicrous how the standards are dropping to protect Solskjaer.

It is the stats that are damning for Nuno, we are bottom or close to bottom of almost every stat, who we have played is irrelevant, we don't look like improving and are worse than under Mourinho and Mason.

I wonder how many managers we can alienate in our next manager search.
