For me, the winner should come from one of Lewandowski, Jorginho and Messi. Haaland, Kante and Donnarumma should also feature in the top ten.
Injury-curtailed seasons will probably do for the likes of some otherwise top performers, chiefly Chiellini and De Bruyne.
I’d love to see Lewandowski recognised, but if pushed, given his success with Argentina (finally), I’d think it’ll be Messi’s award once again.

Obviously Messi will win it. He won the Copa America. The fact he had an average season at Barca and has done nothing at PSG is irrelevant.

Heard rumours Messi had won it, even taking away my anti drug cheat tax dodging manlet bias, what has he facking done this year? Did nothing with Barca and has choked his move away from the safety and comfort of "play entirely to Messi's strengths ball" at Barca.

dunno what this lads been watching but it aint football anyway.
Messi led all the stats in copa and dragging a rank argentina team through (finally)
scored masses of goals for barca as usaul which bascially saved them from being out of CL.

Jorginho winning it would be just trying to fit the most successful player into it, rather than the best player. Lewandowski should win it, he deserved it the season before.

I think it should be among the two Champions League finalists from last year so Foden, Dias or Kante.
