Favourite FA Cup Memory

With it being the 3rd round of the Cup this weekend what’s your favourite FA Cup memory? For me it has to be our 1995 quarter final win over Liverpool. Even though I grew up in London our school was full of Man Utd and Liverpool supporters and I was the only Spurs fan in my year. I was getting properly bantered in the week leading up to the game, and the hype around the match was unreal. Come Saturday. I listened to the game on Capital FM in what was possibly the longest 90 minutes of my life. As a mad cap match drew to a close with the score at 1-1, my dad called me out for a chore in the last few minutes which annoyed the hell out of me, but I hurriedly did what he asked before running back to my room to be greeted with Jonathan Pearce screaming out the name Klinsmanmnmnn!!! at the top of his lungs. What a moment. This was my favourite football memory for years until that night in Amsterdam. Of course we then got tonked 4-1 by Everton in the semi-final πŸ˜‚ but still, just amazing.

Despite all our recent success. That didn’t matteo goal in 97 as a chelsea fan was superb. Loved that team.

More recent ones, can’t remember what round it was - might have been 5th round. Smashing Southampton 6-2 at the Dell, Rocket Ronny on fire that night

My first game at the Lane was a 3rd round FA Cup tie against Altrincham back in January 1979. We scrapped a 1-1 draw thanks to a Peter Taylor penalty but went on to win the replay. The side contained Ossie, Ricky and Steve Perryman but the rest were fairly forgettable.

just because I was a young kid and the atmosphere was unreal, but beating Leeds 2-1 at the lane in a replay when Anderton and Ginola both scored absolute screamers at my end was great.

goals on 1 18 and 2 50.

probably the day I fell in love with Ginola and he became my favourite player until Ledley became the boss.

apologies, it was 2-0.

Gazza freekick against Arsenal. I was nearly 7 so fortunate enough that I can just remember that match.

Trust you to remember that mate. It was memorable even though we lost and tbh we were up against a great side.
