Sibbo not for sale!

More like it !

Cheers, Sarge

We will have to sell players Ang, not nice & it may well curtail our chances of an unlikely "Great Escape". Obviously we need the sales to be as close to the player value as possible.

Understand that Jorv, but 30k for Shinnie and 450k suggested for a 20 yr old prospect like Sibs are hardly realistic figures. Cant see how that level of 'compensation' assists that much, in our current situation

You will have heard the revelation that a Championship club would have paid £100k for him on Colin Murray's 5Live show last night

So how much did we still owe Wigan ?

"We discussed whether there is a prospect of keeping the club going by selling players but that is not a credible option in terms of value of players and amounts required."

That suggests to me that they think or at least hope that by continuing to pile on the pressure, the EFL will cave, and if that is going to happen then we want to have retained our assets. I take this as a positive but it is still on a knife-edge. It comes down to how scared the EFL are of Middlesbrough. It's that, pure and simple.

Indeed but meanwhile we have lost my favourite player. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It's heartbreaking Heb. I'm steeling myself for similar news to come

Sorry but DCFC are about more than one player. Players come and go, even favourite ones. I will take the sale of any particular player if we survive.

Of course, that should go without saying. Doesn't prevent me commenting on the loss though.

No I know, sorry. Just getting extremely stressed by it all.

How about the manager ?

Rooney will leave one day. If what you are asking is whether compensation from Everton might provide funds to last until the end of the season, I think we are beyond that.
