He's 2/1 favourite atm!
I do feel sorry for you because clubs are/will be looking for a bargain due to your financial situation. There's no good news I'm afraid, although I do hope you can somehow get through the season and stay up.
Being a Leeds fan in my 60's I remember some marvellous games between our teams. You have a great fan base and would grace the premiership in my opinion.
Good luck to you.

We will have to sell players Ang, not nice & it may well curtail our chances of an unlikely "Great Escape". Obviously we need the sales to be as close to the player value as possible.

Understand that Jorv, but 30k for Shinnie and 450k suggested for a 20 yr old prospect like Sibs are hardly realistic figures. Cant see how that level of 'compensation' assists that much, in our current situation
There is talk that the Shinnie fee included cancelling some outstanding payments to Wigan for Byrne and maybe Marshall. Turning down the bid for Sibley is obviously encouraging.
My guess is that Rooney has sat down with the administrators and gone through the squad player by player, giving a potential fee at which Rooney would be prepared to let the player leave. There might be some where there would be an "over my dead body" or "very last resort" type of discussion. Even in normal times, every player has a price though.
Or perhaps "I'll take him to Everton with me"?

I would have to go through interviews he gave after the game on Sat, but Im not sure that WR had been aware of the deal with Wigan for Shinnie
We look forward to you reporting back when you have done so, Ang.

Don't wait up
Tony Perkins MP has tweeted after meeting the administrators. Admins have said they have got as much money for the creditors as is possible but that no takeover can occur while the issue of Middlesbrough and Wycombe remains. They are cranking up the pressure on the EFL to come out and say that these are not football debts which of course they are not, at the very most they are possible future liabilities if the clubs were to pursue it in the courts and win. EFL are now between a rock and a hard place: MPs and the tide of public opinion on one side, two nobs on the other.

So how much did we still owe Wigan ?
"We discussed whether there is a prospect of keeping the club going by selling players but that is not a credible option in terms of value of players and amounts required."
That suggests to me that they think or at least hope that by continuing to pile on the pressure, the EFL will cave, and if that is going to happen then we want to have retained our assets. I take this as a positive but it is still on a knife-edge. It comes down to how scared the EFL are of Middlesbrough. It's that, pure and simple.
Indeed but meanwhile we have lost my favourite player. đ´ó §ó ˘ó łó Łó ´ó ż
