First of all… WOW what a win! Reminiscent of Ajax CL semi
We deserved the win IMO and should have been easily 3-0 up in the first half.
This leads me onto Bergwijn. I’ve struggled to understand why we’re looking to ship him out for relative peanuts when he has looked good in the last few appearances and isn’t a bad player at all. He’s struggled with end product admittedly but I believe he could play an important role at spurs and much needed back up as proved today.
We have far worse deadwood that we could ship off!
So Bergwijn - in or out?
A BIG in for me

Why would he go back to the farmers league here in Holland. It's a crap, shte league with cloggers, farmers and builders playing in amateur teams.

Seems Bregwijn's the most saleable asset. ENIC are about to asset strip him and use those funds to placate the manager and fans. A zero-sum gain. Bergwijn should stay and new funds to buy players should come from the owners. They're well within FFP.

100%. We are approx £400m inside FFP and owned by one of the wealthiest men on earth, but apparently we have to sell to buy when the top 4 door is wide open.
I’ve said it numerous times and I stand by it, the sooner Joe Lewis keels over and dies of a stroke or heart attack the better because THFC might have a shot of fulfilling its potential. Him snuffing it can’t come soon enough as far as I’m concerned.

Seriously though, if they sell Bergwijn to buy Traore then there must be a protest.

WTF. How can you wish the owner of our club dying, just so we can buy some players 🥴

Stevie B should get a run of games now. See if he can build on this. If he can’t then he probably won’t make the grade here. If he can then he has a very high ceiling I feel
