Derby County 2 - 2 Birmingham City FTEFL

DERBY COUNTY V BIRMINGHAM CITY...............………........................Championship # 28

1.30pm Pride (Sports Direct) Stadium Sunday 30th January 2022

FECK the EFL

I think there are 17 tickets left for this fixture - mainly singles - around Pride Park - which constitutes a 'sell out', lets hope that we get the outcome that 30,000 Derby fans want.

Prior to that is the #SaveOurClub march. There will be rolling road blocks around the city from 11.30am - would be great to see you on it - Vidal, Spart and Saudi Ram already committed, 2W will be there in spirit in his best marching boots, Heb will be doing one and a half laps around the croft and Ang is bringing forward his evening walk. Scouse may venture into Toxteth. Talking to the organisers we could expect between 2000 - 4000 of The Faithful winding their way from the Assembly Rooms, then:

Morledge
Cockpit Island
Pride Parkway
Riverside Road
Royal Way

See you there.

The shenanigans go on. We now have an extension to find money to March 1st (?) but have been assured that while no-one is leaving, no-one can come in.

Excellent articles by The 606 Faithful - Vidal - have kept a sober, yet authoritative take on proceedings. Some fantastic threads and comments here on the J606DCFC board about the 'situation' - many erudite, many thoughtful and many from the heart.

I dunno, but I feel things are starting to look a little bit more positive but this is more of the EFL being slowly picked apart regarding their procedures, personnel - especially the personnel - I mean who wants their own misdemeanours and past scrutinised as a result of exposing somebody else's?

BTW, there is a match on Sunday - 3 points would be lovely - but lets save the club first. I have heard on the QT that Bielek may be involved........interesting.

Team News: Allsop, Byrne, Forsyth, Jozwiak, Bird, Lawrence (C), Stearman, Davies, Knight, Thompson, Plange.

Subs: Roos, Bielik, Kazim-Richards, Sibley, Buchanan, Ebiowei, Ebosele.

I will be scouring Scottish football for a combative, "ratting", goal-scoring midfielder. Just for when we are allowed to sign somebody🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Go for it, Heb!

Bielik has just put out an Instagram message to say he is OK, no damage done. Just a couple of days needed for it to settle down so I suppose he might even be on the bench on Wednesday.

And breathe.

He could do with some of the same repair DNA as Rafa Nadal.

Just for fun. Had we scoured the Scottish market with a little more than a newsagent shopkeeper/ Chief Scout whilst we had Nige on board who knows what other gems we could have snapped up.

One for you Heb

Derby Scottish XI :

GK - Marshall

RB - Callum Paterson (Cardiff)
CB Ryan Edwards (Dundee United)
CB Scott McKenna (Forest)
LB - Robertson (Liverpool)

CM Callum McGregor
CM Johnn McGinn (Villa)
CM - Shinnie ( it's still too raw)

RW - Johnny Russell ( 'Merica)
CF - C Martin ( Bristol City )
LW Che Adams ( Southampton)

Manager : George Burley

It's not, though I know the pub. I used to play for a Sunday League club in Shrewsbury called Santos which would have been a better fit for Roberto!
