Probably being punished because he didnt spot that is was a blatant penalty to begin with

given kevin friend is wont to ref a game like a Neanderthal with waving cards randomly at some times and ignoring other issues he is no loss.

this does however bring up a point.

why are current refs stuck in a booth in stockely doing var when theres loads of ex refs who could do the job and attend all the same briefings/tranings.

after all the only reason refs retire at 46 or whatever is inability to run about as much.

Yes, actual factual information is a spin I assume he was dropped from all the other games for the same reason? Or is it likely jounos spotted something easy to print that the majority wouldnt question on how often he even gets to ref games
