MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Leeds won away to Everton in the league for the first time in 14 attempts last season, with Raphinha scoring the only goal.
They have not won back-to-back league visits to Goodison Park since November 1976.
Everton
Everton can lose five consecutive league matches for the first time since equalling a top-flight club record of six straight defeats in October 2005.
Nineteen points is their lowest tally after 21 games of a Premier League season.
They have already lost 12 league fixtures in 2021-22, only one fewer than in the entirety of last season.
The Toffees have only managed one win and five points in 14 matches. It's the worst record in the Premier League since mid-October.
Everton have lost an unrivalled 14 home games since the beginning of last season.
Frank Lampard has beaten Marcelo Bielsa in their two most recent meetings: 4-2 away with Derby in the Championship play-off semi-finals, and 3-1 at home with Chelsea in the Premier League last season. Bielsa won the first three encounters.
Leeds United
Leeds can remain unbeaten in three consecutive Premier League away matches for the first time since October to November 2002.
They have registered three goals in three of their four league games in 2022, having failed to score more than twice in any of their opening 18 fixtures this season.
However, Marcelo Bielsa's side have conceded 15 goals in their past four away league matches.
Raphinha has scored in Leeds' three Premier League games against Everton since promotion.
Tough game, Everton looking to bounce back after the Geordies thumped them and Leeds full of self belief after an excellent comeback against Villa,
Leeds to tighten their defence and take the points with another battling display 2-3 Scoreline with Raph getting back to his best form and James and Harrison scoring the others

Bringing Raph off at half time is a perfectly justified decision given how bad he’s been this week. But replacing him with Roberts is where you have to question Bielsa.

I agree and he could have played Rodrigo as the loan striker and only brought on Foreshaw beefing up the middle with James and Harrison on the wings but it's all irrelevant now, we got beat... We move on.

After today, I look at the players I wouldn't be sorry to see go in summer and sadly one of them is Raphinha. He seems like his mind is elsewhere (hmm, I wonder why...) and his performances are nowhere near what he's capable of. Others I'd willingly let go are Rodrigo (think of who we could buy with that money) and Roberts (maybe a loan spell would do him and us a favour).

Quick tip for life. Don’t base long term decisions on just the last couple of weeks.

Sound advice but I'm basing it on a season's worth of performances - certainly in the case of Rodrigo and Roberts, unless you've seen something I haven't.

To be fair Lorra, Rodrigo was a one-man team today.
I thought he was excellent. And the only hope we had.
But, I get your point, we could get something for him.
Nowhere near our outlay. But something.

And I must admit Rodrigo has shown more promise recently, but for what we paid for him, he's nowhere near justified that.

You want to sell Raphinha based on his performances this whole season? or the last 2 weeks?
Rodrigo been very good recently but I would still move in if right fee can be found.

ffs evertons biggest league win in nearly 2 years and people think we will be ok
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Indeed people are blinded by their loyalty. We are in a relegation battle, the time for arrogance has come and gone. Panic stations at the club now.
