Pacino was good in godfather but all hes done since is shout and over act. He plays the same guy in every movie.

De Niro is different level.

Agreed. Clearly have no clue about movies. You never seen Dog Day afternoon? Al Pacino is superb in this. Carlito’s way? Donnie Brasco? Need i go on

De Vito > De Niro

Both 2 of the best of all time. Arguments can made for both as to whos better. Both have had periods where thei careers have been up and down. Im not going to list all the incredible work they have done, most have already. Those saying their past it, pacino in the irishman as hoffa was superb.

For me its pacino just. Just my personal preference in that some of his movies are amongst my all time favs, godfather, serpico, scent of a woman, donnie brascoe.

All time best for me is brando and by a stretch. Nobody will impact acting the way he did.

Maybe De Niro. I feel like he has done more varied roles, but at least Pacino is signing up to any old crap these days.

De Niro was better in heat too.

Pacino. Great in the other films mentioned and brilliant in Scent of A Woman too.

De Niro is usually excellent in Martin Scorsese films but it's the other crap stuff that loses my vote.

The Mission - a good film made great by De Niro & Morricone tbf)
Midnight Run - proving he can do great comedy, without making an idiot of himself

Jackie Brown
Wag The Dog...

And them he went and did Analyze This in 2002 and has been mostly rubbish since then.

Forgot he was in Joker though.

De niro is a much better actor with varied roles.

Pacino has been in some dire movies last 10/15 years too. While de niro been in some poor comedies... was his acting bad? Not for me.
