On Thursday Wolves travel to London to take on Arsenal for the re-arranged fixture from December 28th, postponed due to Covid .
When the two sides met earlier this month Arsenal ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a scrappy 25th minute goal from Gabriel. In the second half of the game Arsenal started their 5hithousery after 55 minutes and racked up 5 yellow cards and a red in their ‘win at all cost’ approach to the game. I for one sincerely hope that this time they will be prepared to play football and try to win the game in a fair and sporting way (I have my doubts)
A win in this game for Wolves will see them move above both Arsenal and West Ham to go 5th in the table with a chance to consolidate that position when they face West Ham next Sunday.

Wolves had a good game plan in both games, and we needed a bit of luck both times, could easily have gone the other way in either fixture. I think if you had played us earlier in the season you would have hung on today, we've managed to find more goals in the last few games. Of all the other sides in the mix for fourth Wolves are by far the best defensively, and you can see that if you can add a few goals you'll be right up there.
I like watching Wolves, think you play some decent football even if it hasn't resulted in scoring that many this season. And I agree with those who say the goals will come for Jiminez, he's getting in the right positions and just needs one to go in to get that confidence back.

He seemed to have got that confidence back a few months ago, his finishes against Southampton and Everton were vintage Jimenez but he's lacked some sharpness these last few weeks. He coitus probably do with ac test but we haven't really got back up that can slot in.

Did ourselves no favours with that nonsense during the substitution either, we initially were going to take Jimenez off and then after about three minutes of facking about took off Podence. They scored right on 95 minutes in time which would never have existed but for that nonsense.

Three way battle with us, West Ham and Spurs as things stand. I expect Spurs to win that battle by several points by the end.
A chance we can get past West Ham though, they are stuttering and Europe will be a distraction.

I'll never understand why teams can't get it in to their thick heads that when they do this sort of thing they're only extending the game not shortening it. Bloody crazy.
