Massive game this. Not sure i see us winning it but we are in the winning habit at the moment. Not quite sure we have been playing anywhere near as well as our position suggests but that is football. Would love Jimenez to smash them single handedly.

Hopefully our defence sorts itself out for this one. We have looked a bit panicked at the back recently (which is unusual) and we've been quite lucky to only concede the once in the last two games IMO.
Great to look upwards and think where we might finish this season but for now great satisfaction in seeing we are 13 points ahead of the bottom half of the table. Great first season for Bruno

On MOTD last night, the pundits were praising us for our defensive organisation and how well Coady marshals the back three, for most games I'd have agreed but there far too many times yesterday, particularly first half where the ball flew through that gap between the last defender and the keeper with no one taking charge and dealing with it. Sa was more alive to it second half and dealt with it better but that was a bit of a shock.
Yeah our defensive organisation has been great this season and we've been very composed. I think the last two games we have still been organised, but all composure seems to have disappeared which has made us a bit panicked and also impacted our decisiveness in those situations.
I'm not really sure what has caused it to be honest.
Leicester pressed us higher than most teams have done and we’re causing us to rush clearances and as a consequence they were gaining possession in our half which put us under pressure. They passed the ball much more fluently than we did, we were very poor at retaining possession yesterday. Tielemans looked a very good player, Lookman caused problems from the left and they put a lot of emphasis on attacking down their right flank where Albrighton and Pereira found space regularly. To be honest given their dominance of the game for large parts there is some credit due to our defence and keeper that we only conceded one
interesting that MOTD didnt show the lookman/podence incident last night
tough game arsenal away but I think we may just sneak a 2-1 win
The weather matched the welcome of the local landlords. Struggling to think of a more inhospitable away day, one that gets worse year on year. Asked a local bobby why so…”the Wolves fans aren’t very nice” 🤷♂️

Inhospitable!!
Last time i went to Leicester they weren't serving any alcohol in the away end. I was there about an hour before kick off and nothing to drink but tea or pop
Not very nice??? What a despicable and inaccurate thing to say. Next time they come to town we’ll kick their heads in…
Witless is going to be along soon telling us that yesterdays result proved that he is right all along about something.
Not sure what it is though?
Big game at Molineux on Saturday when we play Brighton in the Quarter Finals of the prestigious FA Youth Cup. 1200 attended the last round when we beat spurs 3-0 and probably be more for this one.
Wolves have only ever won this trophy once which was in 1958 in a game that went down in Molineux folklore. The finals were two legs in those days and we lost the first leg 5-1 at Stamford Bridge with a young Jimmy Greaves starring for Chelsea. Despite a seemingly hopeless task 20,000 turned up for the second leg and we got back level on aggregate by half time. The story goes that the turnstiles were opened up at the break and as word got around that Wolves were making the comeback it’s said over 15,000 more turned up to watch the second half. We won 6-1 on the night although a late Jimmy Greaves goal made it a nervy ending at 7-6 on aggregate. Future Wolves first team striker Ted Farmer scored 5 in the second leg.
Shame 1958 was before my time

They wont be able to afford him after the sanctions anyway...
Although having Ukrainian parents, Kilman was born in Chelsea
Boyhood Chelsea fan apparently.
we may struggle to turn a profit on him though
Kilman is probably the player we will most struggle to keep hold of. He doesn't have any ties to the area and as a homegrown player is attractive to the bigger teams. We really should be holding out for big money for him because of that.
I think there are still a few question marks over him playing in a back 4. He really struggled with balls played in behind him yesterday. Hopefully was just the weather. An England call up and cap would add to his value though.

I said at the time it was a completely pointless signing and that we would lose money on the deal.
