Obviously we are speculating. But do we think net proceeds from sale include or preclude the £1.5bn investment in Chelsea?
That would be a lot more money for Puti-victims: Ukrainians, Jews, Russians, whoever they are

Johnson's sanctions announcement on the 22 Feb is tantamount to the police phoning up a drug dealer, telling them they will be raiding their home in a week or two to search for drugs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rich people in one step ahead shocker!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you look at other countries, many were able to implement a wide range of economic sanctions very quickly, and without giving those targeted a 'heads up' beforehand.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But do the oligarchs have as far-reaching influence as here?
Every country is different: London are a financial hub and has always welcomed dirty money
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whilst London (Canary Wharf) is no longer the power it once was, irrespective of power dynamics, the UK PM stated there would be sanctions levied against RA but has (to date) failed to do so.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought he did and then retracted the comment about Roman
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He did! On the 22 Feb he claimed sanctions against RA had been levied. And later corrected the record stating they had not been yet.
Which I'm sure RA would have been completely unaware of. And not induced him into taking action to protect his interests.

Boris is just waiting for Vlad to tell him when he can levy the sanctions.
"Yes Prime Minister" has nothing on our bunch of corrupt and/or lickspittle ministers.

The statement said "....victims of the war in Ukraine".
That could mean injured Russian soldiers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It probably means just that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It said all victims, so it probably means both. Considering he has sent in young inexperienced conscripts to their death, itjink there are Russian victims too. This is Putins war more than Russia's war.

I cannot believe there are Chelsea fans ( including this poster ) who seriously still think Abramovich won't want his 1.5 billion "loan" back !!!
You either have absolutely no knowledge of finances, or are just so blind and deluded by thinking about all those cups that were bought with HIS dirty money.
In answer to the question, yep he will want his 1.5 billion back before anything goes to charity.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well he said all along he doesn't. Does this remain your position?
