I don't think its unfair to suggest Tuchel should be doing better in the league though; with the money Chelsea spent that should be for a shot at the title. Even if two fullbacks have been injured, you'd expect better league performance - especially considering the depth of Chelsea's squad.

Tuchel has proved he can't cut it against Pep or Klopp so got to gamble and get someone who potentially can.

They may not be the highest quality but you have 2/3 established internationals/players fighting for every position. I think only City can also compete with that.

But it’s no use having a number of average internationals when Liverpool have Balon d’Or candidates in attack.

Liverpool are anomalous though, having 2/3 people playing every week for 5 seasons is insane. Their pharmaceutical team are the best in world sport.

They’ve got some decent depth now, though, since bringing in Diaz and Jota. They’ve got the best group of attackers in the prem.

Put this way, if Chelsea could swap their attackers for Spurs’ they probably would because in Son and Kane they get guarantees, having lesser quality players for depth isn’t as big an issue then.

Internationals or not they are not very good. Chillwell to alonso has gotta be the biggest downgrade in sports. No recognised cm some weeks, and our strike force are woeful

Problem is Chelsea’s attackers are shiiiiiiit.

You can’t challenge for league titles by relying on set pieces, pens and defenders scoring goals.

yet we are current european and world champions and are 3rd highest scorers in the prem and utd with a +8 goal differnce are in no position to question TT at all
