I'm not completely sold on him in truth. Looking at Chelsea's squad I think they should probably be closer to the top. I also thought he was a pretty attacking manager but often I've seen Chelsea line up quite defensively.

Perhaps I'm being unfair as he'd be better than what we've had recently but I just have a nagging doubt about him.

I think Utd should look to sign him now. Chelsea can get Nuno.

I totally agree with you but it will be interesting to see what happens with him.

Or Frank returns after relegating Everton.

It'll certainly be interesting.

I wonder if any sale will go through pretty quickly anyway and we won't see much of an effect?

We're in no position at present to turn down a Tuchel I suppose but for our next manager I really want to see some adventurous football.

Ten Hag may be a flavour of the month kind of guy but I would like to see him at United to find out if he could do something great.

Frank needs to cut his teeth in the lower leagues and build his reputation up that way - so yes, a return to Chelsea could be perfect for him.

Ya I’m with you on Ten Hag also simply because I have huge reservations on other pontential candidates.

I'm pretty confident Poch, given the right hard working players, could get us qualifying quite comfortably for the CL each season in a year or two. However, I don't see him getting us higher than that. Again, I may be being unfair and he'd find his 'home' at United but I do think his ship has sailed now. If he does get the job though I'll back him 100% of course.

It’s hard to know with Poch. He did a very good job at Spurs for a while but it did fizzle out. PSG has been hit and miss but I appreciate it’s a difficult job in many ways. I’ll get behind him but won’t be dancing in the streets if he does join.

apparently these sanctions would prevent chelsea from hiring any other managers, except unemployed norwegian ones with recent pl experience

All the stuff going on in the world and this is the most mental I’ve heard this week. Guys pulling off miracles atm. Lost our two best players this season and had others injured throughout and were comfortably top 4, got to a final, won the club World Cup and in the other competitions.

I’m of a mindset that what tuchel has done this year has arguably been more impressive than last year when he was riding a wave.

It’s mental to call any of it a miracle. He’s doing well. It’s not miraculous.

Hands off Tommy T🤣

He must have condition to only sign for United if Kante comes with him. Must be a big shock moving from Kante, Saul, Kovacic to McTominay and Fred

I'd rather have ETH.

I really rate Tuchel, but I’d prefer Ten Hag.

Tuchel has proved he can't cut it against Pep or Klopp so got to gamble and get someone who potentially can.

It's my opinion that at two points per game he's not pulling up any trees in the league. You watch them more than me obviously so I respect it if you say he is doing well. I'm not saying he's doing badly.

I'd prefer him to Pochettino but not Ten Hag.

Chelsea have been a bit unlucky this season with the injuries to James and Chilwell, two absolutely vital players to the way they play. If they hadn't got injured they'd be well clear of fourth place and on similar points to Liverpool I reckon.

If Tuchel walked Chelsea can't replace him while the asset freeze and current restrictions on the business are in place

We’re crap lol. And he’s got us comfortably in the top 4 and all other competitions. We lost our two most vital players. I think we’d be close to city if not for that. But also have lost kovacic, kante and other important players throughout the year. I can only base it on what we’ve had available and imo he’s worked wonders. We’ve spent a lot of money on a lot of crap

At one point we had a centre midfield pairing of loftus cheek and chalobah (a centre back). And we’ve played 40 games already this year
