Let's discuss Pogba

Ronaldo , Fred and Sancho are rightfully getting all the praise for their performances last night against Spurs.

But then there's Paul Pogba ... Another frustrating game from him.

I've always made it clear many times on here that I've never rated him in a United shirt.
I keep hearing about what a world class talent he is but 90% of the time I've watched him for United he has looked exactly like he did last night.
Strolling around the pitch like he's playing in a testimonial , giving the ball away , lapses in concentration , too easily outmuscled , slowing down the game and worst of all for me committing stupid fouls in dangerous parts of the pitch

I'm sorry but you can't be a "world class" player when far too often you look like the worst player on the pitch. Or as someone mentioned on here last night sometimes it feels like we're playing with 10 men with him on the pitch.

The last time Pogba was absolutely brilliant for us and looked like a top player was back in August against Leeds. That's 7 months ago ffs!
He's had one or two flashes of brilliance since but simply not enough to convince or to justify all the nonsense about his future at United.

Sure we could talk about Maguire and another horrible performance from him last night. I've always maintained that he should have been stripped of the captaincy when Ralf took over and should be nowhere near the starting team.
We know he is utter cr@p. But I've never heard any pundit label him a world class player like they like throwing that phrase in our faces every time they talk about Pogba. And that's my point.

A world class player should be at least performing at a high level most of the time , like Mo Salah at Liverpool for example. Instead of one genuinely world class performance in 7 months.

Paul Labile Pogba. Great player for France and Juventus indeed. But I'm afraid his career at Man United has been nothing short of disappointing.

I think Pogba's been fine the last few weeks.

Miles better than Bruno who we didn't miss at all yesterday.

Pogba doesn't look fully fit to me and is gassed after 60mins.

He’s an asset to any club. Gets unnecessary heat, sure criticise his game, but he’s a great ambassador, role model, unlike some.

He is an asset when he is on his game which sadly has not been consistent enough.

Yesterday was one of those games where he looked totally out of sorts and for the most part just jogged around. And that is what gets the fans backs up.

I don't see how you can play to Pogba's strengths without the ability to put the opposition into suspended animation. He simply wants far more time on the ball than any decent Premier League club will give him. I'm not sure how anybody other than Pogba himself can fix that issue

Yeh, he did. And it’s those type of games where his languid style looks like he ain’t trying.
I mean I moaned at Rashford for not counter attacking in the 65th min, but Pogba stopped running too.

But Maguire was worse. Have a look in the 89th min, he’s so slow. If Reguilon had got a slight tough to knock the ball back across goal, Kane would’ve scored easy.

And Maguire just let Kane ghost past him, and didn’t even sense the danger. We got away with that there at the end….

The league just does not suit him. That is what is really the issue. A focused team that closes him down means he becomes no better than a youth player.

The truth about why doesn't he suit the style of 3 managers is he does not suit this league. He always had tooic time in Juventus. He's average in this league. Very few teams will give him the space he needs to shine especially when he is playing higher up in the attack.

Also, someone was saying Pogba was better that's why we didn't miss Bruno. I do worry about the judgement of United fans.

I have no idea what some of our fans were watching yesterday. A bad feed would be my guess.
