The King Effect

im not sure if this has been mentioned before but thought id say it anyway.

Isnt it amazing the effect certain players have on the game.

Ledley King, utter freak of nature, 4 games in, the team, 4 wins and only 2 goals conceded.

But what gets me the most is Kaboul looks a different player, Kaboul has played all season, and with Dawson, both looked suspect IMO, and granted it was from better opposition, but several goals were conceded via crosses or headers.

But with Ledley alongside him, you can just see the difference, winning every header, better positioning and a much more complete display. We all know Kaboul did have concentration prblems in the past and I think its vital he is played along someone with a brain, and a vocal player e.g. King, to keep his concentration levels up and lead to better performances.

The same goes for Scotty parker, what a signing eh?

In the first half VDV was cutting inside too much and bale was narrow also, this led to modric in possession gesturing that he had no options and in turn we lost possession. Instantly you notice parker going up to each player and feeding them instructions which then sees Bale mostly, fill up the large gaps right on the flanks.

Its so good having these vocal players with a good undserstanding of the game able to organize players, both english too. With this 2 in the spine of our team we look a much more complete team
