I think King is a decent captain as in he leads by example but when the chips are down Parker is a leader you need in the team. I was uncertain about buying Parker with Sandro already here but I am glad I have been proved wrong!

When i heard that King doesn't EVER train on the football pitch and only trains in the swimming pool, i thought they were joking...but no, thats all he can do during the week

Kaboul is getting better and better, he did get caught out a few times by RVP, but RVP is a class player, so you can forgive him for that

you've hit the nail on the head,it's not just how good a player king is...

it's his ability to make the CB alongside him look and play better.

mearly his presence and talking thru the game makes him a must have in as many league games as humanly possible....

The King Effect is a confidence thing imo. team plays better whenever Ledley play. good to see him play every week

I think the players have to worry less about defending when King is playing. Maybe that could be the King effect. Though once again it has to be said "King is a legend". Also VDVVVVVVVV
