Line up for sunday

Looks a bit desperate

Injury/suspension list as follows:

Forshaw - Done for season
Roberts - Done for season
Dallas - Done for season

Bamford - 25% Chance (wont play)
Raphinha - Niggly Hamstring
Harrison - Scanned, (slim chance)

Ayling - Suspension
James - Suspension

Looks like line up could be

Meslier
Cooper
Firpo
Llorente
Struijk
Shackleton or Bate
Koch
Phillips
Klich
Rodrigo
Geldhart

Kids on bench

Not going to lie I can't see us get out of this if we're missing Raphinha and Harrison (although they play full back under Marsch), but football is a crazy game.

You have to say, the biggest downfall this season has been the crippling injuries, I can't ever remember a season where the team is missing key players for nearly every single game. It's amazing we're not already down.

We have no chance against a quality outfit like Brighton who are in great form. I think we'll be technically relegated this weekend. Sad times

i would like to see a 4 5 1 with iether Rodrigo or Gelhardt up top as Brighton usually have a lot of possession so I think we need 5 across the middle to counter that.

So with Raphina and Harrison fit I would have KP Klich and Koch instead of Bate as I'm not sure the pressure of the occasion is suitable for a relatively inexperienced player which I suppose you can say the same of Gelhardt but for Joffy I would make him the exception.

Shacks, Cooper Lorente and then I would prefer Hjelda which again contradicts my reasoning for omitting Bate so in that case it would have to be Struiyk at LB instead who must surely get the nod over bomb-scare Firpo.
Meslier in goal and then hope for best.

Spurs are on fire and playing for Champion's league.
Kane is on a mission. Who knows? I've belly ached as
much as anyone, maybe more. But, we can still do it.

Bloody hope so. What a story that'd be.

I don't know how anyone that watches us play can come to the conclusion that Raphinha has given up, isn't trying or his head is elsewhere.

Whatever happens in the summer, he's given everything he has got to keep us up.

I swear that most people football comes down to the following;

tactics = no effect on result
win = players tried
lose = players weren't trying

I don’t think he’s given up. He has been incredibly ineffective in many games - his passing sloppy, defending very suspect- end product hit and miss…but that could obviously come down to his teammates and tactics etc - but the talk of everyone after him and certain price tags must be a distraction

Not exactly spoiled for choice, are we? Can’t have Klich on the pitch as his fire is long burned out. If we have Raph, that’s something, but he’s got to offer more than his Mr angry face. Bring in Cresswell to manage Dunk at corners, he’s a 50-50 call with Llorente. Subs: Summerville, Greenwood and anybody with a pulse.
Mes
Shack Cresswell Coops Hjelde
KP Koch
Raph Harrison
Joffy Rod.

I think i’d go for

Meslier

Koch Cooper Struijk

Shackleton Klich Phillips Firpo

Raphinha Rodrigo Harrison

And go with a kid to low block. Forget the high press because it’s a disaster under Marsch and just leaves a huge gap between defence and midfield.

Keep it tight and hope that Raphinha can nick it for us.

Our decent results under Marsch have come playing 4-2-3-1, I kind of understand why he would want 3 at the back for Man City and Chelsea but it's not working.

Time to sack it off.

Shack Koch Cooper Firpo

Phillips Klich

Raph Rod Harrison

Gelhardt

If Summerville is fit he'd be playing some part for me.
