Sony have announced a loyalty program. It is free to become a member, and you receive rewards, for doing stuff, and playing games.

To be fair I do agree, a loyalty scheme is a way for companies to tie you more to their product. Which is fair enough, they give a little and hope to get something in return. I don't have a problem with that personally, it is just good business.
