BBC will be back at Ibrox next year after releasing a statement apologising for issues around "accuracy and balance of some coverage"
A positive step forward for all concerned and great to see the BBC take ownership of aspects of their coverage which at times has been embarrassing in recent years.

it was always thought as rangers banning the BBC.
the truth was it was BBC boycotting Rangers, which you think they must have strong beliefs over cos it was all over Chris Mclaughlin but when he leaves the BBC they instantly end the boycott.

Was it not Rangers banning Mclaughlin? Who, being part of the BBC is effectively the same thing?

Depends which side of the fence you're on.
From Rangers point of view they felt he had been deliberately deceptive.
I also don't think it hurt the board to have another enemy and been seen as going after those that wished harm on Rangers. If we were focused on the media as an enemy we could be directed a bit easier.
From BBC they would feel if we accept one person being unwelcome then how long before we are told who we are to send and not just who can't?

If there's one thing BBC Scotland needs, it's more coverage of Rangers.
These last few years of not talking about Rangers has been challenging for all of us.

He had his press pass revoked due to biased imbalanced reporting. Which the BBC have now acknowledged and appolgised for.
The BBC then boycotted rangers.
They could have sent someone else, or at the least tried to resolve what was a justified complaint from rangers.
