Obvious again last night, but apparent for some time....
1) KEEPER...we need a new big, 6'3" plus, first-choice keeper, who can command his box and take control at set pieces
2) LEFT-BACK...Borna Barisic needs to be sold in this window. He's having too many bad games now and is no longer good enough to be our first-choice left back
3) CENTRE-BACK... Souttar and Helander are injury-prone, Katic is about to leave, Balogun has gone, Sands is not the answer in that position. Davies was injured, which left Goldson as our main man. He needs some competition as his slow reactions and occasional slackness are now proving costly against top opponents. We need at least one new first-choice centre-back
4) RIGHT-WING......Sakala and Matondo not given starts last night, but Wright showed again he is not quite good enough for our club....squad player against bottom-six clubs, or early round cup games against lower league opposition at best
We've got money in the bank, and could raise more from selling Kamara and poss. 2 or 3 others, so there is still opportunity in this window to solve all all four of the above
Observations on last night....

Interesting move. I'm not sure he's good enough but fair play to him as he ought to have MLS to fall back on.
Going St Mirren in championship to Celtic was a big step so he's clearly got a bit in the stones department. Going MLS to championship is normally other way about.

Not sure? Going to Celtic was a no-brainer as he was only on a few 100 a week at Saints. Don't know what he was paid at Celtic but he moved to Miami for £2k/wk initially. He's done well but iirc still on about £7k at Bulls? He should easily improve on that in the championship?
I agree, brave moves that have so far worked out. Would be easy to continue to rip it up over there and enjoy the lifestyle but if it is a football challenge he wants he is doing the right thing. Chances are his rep is good enough he can always go back?

I mind picking junior up and him telling me what the team for the next day was looking like based on the shaping he saw from the gym and nobody believed me when I posted on here that he was starting at #9
