Yeah we’re basically loaning out all of our deadwood rather than selling it. Ndombele, Winks, GLC and Reguillon all sorted now. Not ideal but gets them off the wage bill at least.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Europe is broke. Even average PL players have high wages for a european team.

Would have thought the likes of Winks would have appealed to someone, a promoted or mid/lower table team. Same for Rodon
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah if the loanees perform well though, Levy knows next season clubs will have more disposable revenue to splash. GLC, Ndombele, Reguilon all still have a bit of time on their contracts. He is playing the long game I reckon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It helps our finances too.

Profit on player trading is a revenue that contributes to overall profit/loss which FFP is assessed against.

Any HG player would have cost zero so any fee is all profit.

If you are reselling a player then their book value depreciates over the length of their contract. So NDombele at 55m on a 5 year deal is worth 55m on day 1, and 11m less every year later. So next summer (4 years into a 5 yr deal) his book value is £11m and anything we sell him for then over 11m is a profit. If we sold him for £15m this summer that's a 7m loss on our books.

Yeah I remember you explaining this before Devonshire. It seems logical then if we have only received paltry bids for these players to instead loan and sell further down the line

113m net spend.

Conte has Levy by the feet shaking him down for every last penny. I see he has hinted he wants more but will be settled even if the club don't do it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You've also lost Ndombele and Lo Celso who you paid over 100m for but they flopped hard. 100m down the drain.

Naaah. They've contributed to Liverpool winning the Champions League, Premier League and a plethora of cups so not the same at all.

Please near 100m for the two, with both not reaching 100appearances in 4/5 years.

Keita even scored the first goal vs Chelsea in the game that won Liverpool the league after 30 years in the wilderness. I remember it well and it plays in my head like a video, Keita smashing it into the top corner from 30 yards out.

Yeah both have shown glimpses of quality. Same could be said of the two spurs signed. But I have no doubt both sets of managers and chairmen would retrospectively undo the transfers if it was possible. Every club signs duds are mismatched players. Through bad luck, injury or otherwise. The great Klopp is no different

Naah, I wouldn't say Ndombele and Lo Celso have shown glimpses of quality like Keita and Ox. They can't get on the pitch and are crap when they do.

Listen without this getting like a playground squabble, the same could be said of Keita and Chamberlain. Like I said for 100m they haven’t delivered anywhere near enough end product without even mentioned how little they have featured.

As I said all clubs make poor purchases, be it Veron, Taibi, Carroll. Or in this case, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Keita or Chamberlain
