If they were so would I. For there American sports team they sacked the manager who was incumbent when they bought the franchise after two years. They appointed a new manager and he is still in place today having been in place for something like 7 years. Not the behaviour of trigger happy owners and most reports lead us to believe that they were willing to work with and build a relationship with TT but that wasn't reciprocated. TT came to us after he was sacked due to poor relations with the owners of PSG and we were told it was likely to happen, I always felt that was more through desperation and the need to wum but it makes you wonder.

If they were they wouldn’t appoint him in the first place. Abramovich would never appoint Potter.

I can't help but feel he's been made out to be much better than he actually is. Just about staying up twice and one mid table finish.

It's hardly the CV to take on a top club that demands success and isn't scared to sack a coach at any point.

It's a huge downgrade going from Tuchel to Potter.

Maybe we are getting a young manager with potential that will grow and succeed given the resources we can provide. Maybe he will fail. We have had top managers that have failed, I'm happy to take the chance.

Potter deserves a bigger club but why does it have to be Chelsea? A promising career down the drain then.
