On Saturday Wolves travel to London to take on fellow strugglers West Ham in a proper '6 pointer.'

As one of only 3 teams below Wolves in the table West Ham’s 18th place is in complete contrast to where they were this time last season when they were 8th in the table with 8 points from 5 games.

Wolves currently sit in 17th place in the table with just 6 points from 7 games repeating the slow start that they had to last season when at this time they had just 3 points from 5 games and were just one place higher in the table.

When the two sides met last season, both won their home games with a 1-0 score line.

It remains to be seen who is fit to play when the players return from their international commitments but as Bruno Lage has already ruled out striker Raul Jimenez, it’s to be hoped that Diego Costa will be up to speed and provide a much needed spark to the Wolves attack. Adama Traore is back in full training and could feature.

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports

Not sure I want another Portuguese head coach. Their play just seems to be so negative.

Good to see the Villa are just as rubbish as is in front of goal.

Wasn't being facetious by the way wulfrun, it was a reference to the nick name of a certain 1980s snooker player.

No probs Oldgold, I was a bit slow on the uptake.

Mind you Steve Davis the snooker player might improve play

Despite being in the bottom 3 our next 2 home games are against teams below us (at the moment).

My thoughts also.

In a way I’d be happy to have temporary management for the Chelsea game and let a new man come in for the home game against Forest, which hopefully would turn into a positive start.

My main concern given what happened to Thelwell and Dalrymple though is that Jeff might decide to be the manager himself

Ole Gunnar Solskaer linked with the managers job.

Doesn’t seem Wolves have anybody lined up for the job. Be damaging if the post is vacant going into the important next home game against Forest

East Midlands Derby tonight in the Premier League between the bottom two teams. A win for Forest at Leicester would see them go above Wolves and see us dropping to 19th. Any other result and we will go to Chelsea at the weekend in 18th

I wonder how Boly feels about swapping the bench at Wolves for the bench at Forest. Has played 63 minutes so far, bench tonight.
