I know it's a bit early for this but I think we need to move on from Man City
"As one of only 3 teams below Wolves in the table . . ."
not only that but the next 5 games include all of those 3 teams, and also the team immediately above us.
West Ham (a)
Chelsea (a)
Forest (h)
Palace (a)
Leicester (h)
8 points from those 5 games would be a reasonable expectation. Anything below 6 points will raise the volume of the alarm bells.
Possibly.
Word on the street is that Bruno isn't under pressure which i find ridiculous. Moyes can't be far away either, they are on a bad bad run themselves.
Just reading that in 1980/81 when Wolves were in the top flight it was £1.50 per game to stand and £2.50 to sit. And a season ticket cost £48.
If prices had increased by the rate of inflation in that time a seat ticket would now cost about £9
Had a wander around the stadium and Olympic Park this morning after taking the Mrs to the ABBA show last night (not a fan but very impressive by the way). Rail strikes again next weekend so will be watching on the telly unfortunately.

Not a fan of ABBA or the Olympic Stadium?
Goldi is clearly an ABBA fan Tam
Yeah thats what I thought. A guy like Goldi would clearly be unhappy with how far away the seats are from the pitch at the Olympic stadium.
Guy cutting Sasa's hair yesterday(posted a pic with him) claims that he said he told Bruno he needed a few weeks to get match fit as he was carrying an injury but Bruno was having none of it.
Seems a little far fetched to me given Sasa was already playing games in Germany this season
😀 not an ABBA fan although my attitude toward them has softened slightly since my youth and the show is very good. Not really @rsed about the stadium, it had to be put to use as part of the post Olympic legacy and Gold and Sullivan made the decision to take the club away from its spiritual home.
Went to the stadium for the Olympics and the atmosphere was fantastic, although I did pick a night when GB won 4 golds.
Haven’t been there for a football match yet and can’t go on Saturday but was never sure it would suit football. Always felt the atmosphere at the Etihaf was pretty flat but maybe the Hammers fans would make more noise. Going to Upton Park could be uncomfortable and not surprised to read that West Han have had more fans attested this season than any other premier league club
And I’m not an ABBA fan either, nor a fan of pop music generally.. Am going to see the Lemonheads this week which could he as close to pop music as my taste gets. It’s a shame about Ray
Went to see the slow readers club last week, hadnt heard of them before the other half got us the tickets, they're well worth a listen and good live if lacking a little stage presence. One of the few gigs Ive been to where the audience was mostly older than the band.
Getting ready to buckle down with Hurricane Ian approaching FL. Hopefully we'll only get strong winds and rain and not the full force of a 1 or 2.
Tampa under the hammer. We were in Tampa two years ago with the direct hit though it was considerably milder than this one at that stage. This sounds like it could cause some major flooding.
You're right, the surge could cause a whole lot of flooding. I was hoping it would stay further west, but alas...
Misuss bestie lives right on the bay in Tampa, she is having to evacuate. IF the 9 foot surge is legit then her apartment will likely be flooded.
At least the Fins (3-0) aren't at home for Thursday night football, this week.
Yeah, looking forward to that, hopefully the Bengals slay them.
Reports from Mexico saying Jimenez is having discomfort walking let alone training and they are concerned whether he will be fit for the World Cup. May need surgery to resolve the problem
Joe Hodge has been one of the outstanding players for the Wolves academy teams for the last year or so and it would be no surprise to see the midfielder signed from Man City on the first team bench as the season progresses
Further down the line Leon Chiwome has been included on a Premier League list of stars of the future. Only 16, Wolves brought him in from Wimbledon in the summer
Looks like Denayer is set to join a club in UAE
Strange these reports from Mexico, last one I read was that he might be playing next week. I'm not convinced letting him go to the squad when he's not fit is a great idea personally, it's happened a few times now, can't help thinking he'd be better off at Compton sticking to his rehab schedule.
