New Technical Director: Christopher Vivell

Words from former Leipzig Technical Director Christopher:
"A coach thinks from game to game, a sporting director from transfer period to transfer period, a technical director 3 transfer periods in advance."

Sporting Director appointment (soon): Tim Steidten

Tim is the main man that managed to persuade our Greatest Young Talent and a World Class commodity in Callum Hudson-Odoi -https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1548637933451739137/pu/vid/1280x720/n3EfP53HqrOp6EcQ.mp4?tag=14 , against the odds.

With those powers of persuasion and mighty pull...would be an ideal recruit in convincing the biggest talents worldwide to join Chelsea.

Boehly really is playing football manager. And he's playing it like a nerd

Not that it's necessarily a bad call from my outside POV, but instantly thinking of feeling the data & recruitment personnel with Red Bull people is so cliché & obvious.

Yep and the worry for me is that we don't have the people with experience and nous to qualitatively assess talent.

In short...Appears the aim is to replicate the City model, hence gone to the lengths of employing a former City CEO (played a significant role in where they are today) to facilitate that happening...

Maximising Chelsea as a brand globally on a sporting, tactical and especially commercial perspective (fallen far behind on the latter), branching out to buy feeder clubs on a grandier scale, building and establishing a vast range of contacts & scouting network which will yield results / success on and off the pitch.
Sustainable philosophy and progression.

Main positive is the board giving more power and investment to Neil Bath.
