Match Facts
Head-to-head
Palace have failed to score in all three league meetings since earning their only win in the past eight attempts against Leeds, a 4-1 Premier League victory at Selhurst Park in November 2020.
Leeds are winless in six league away matches versus Crystal Palace since beating them 2-1 in the Championship in March 2006.
Patrick Vieira and Jesse Marsch have each won three of their eight managerial meetings across the MLS and Premier League, with two draws.
Crystal Palace
Palace's only league win this season came at home to Aston Villa in August.
They have taken the lead in five of their seven Premier League matches but dropped 10 points from winning positions. Only Leicester - with 11 points dropped - have fared worse.
Wilfried Zaha has failed to score in his nine league appearances versus Leeds. They are the opponents he has played the most against without scoring.
Michael Olise is one short of 100 career league appearances. He made his league debut in Reading's 3-0 home defeat against Leeds in the Championship in March 2019.
Leeds United
Leeds are unbeaten in all four home matches this season but have only taken one point from three away fixtures.
They have not lost in the league this calendar year when they have scored the opening goal, winning six of those nine games.
Since returning to the Premier League in 2020, all five of Leeds' league defeats from a winning position were against London opposition.
Patrick Bamford is one short of 100 career league goals. His most recent league goal was a 95th-minute equaliser in Leeds' 2-2 Premier League home draw versus Brentford in December last year.
There we go then, Palace desperate to get points on the board and Leeds looking to improve on our away form, all the ingredients of a tasty encounter
I'm going for a 1-2 scoreline with Paddy getting his century and Happy Jack getting back to scoring ways
Let's hope the officials this week are up to the job

Ref's not even hiding his bullsheet now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm only on audio so I can't see what's going on but we can't keep blaming the ref week after week.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The yellows he was dishing out to us in the 2nd half were an embarrassment after being very lenient with Palace in the first half.
Again, as last week, it's about consistency.

I always feel a judgement of a side is to consider if you did a best 11 between both sides, who would be in it
I'd say its a toss up between the keepers and perhaps the odd midfielder
Probably Ayling, Adams, Bamford
They would have Mitchell, Gueyl, Anderson, Olise, Zaha, Eze
That tells me they have a better side than us. And of those 6 players they were all cheap or youth.
And in that respect you look at structure and signings

It was a shambles not to sign a proven striker after last season. Let's hope Gnonto has got something
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Definitely. Hoe does a 5 ft 4 18 year old replace Bamford? All they do is look fir players to improve and sell on for profit

If Gnoto is starting for Italy, why isn’t he even coming off the bench? Would Somerville make the Italy squad??

Biggest thing Marsch needs to do now is pick the best team and not a group of once-were-something name
———————————
who would you pick instead ?
For me that was our best side apart from suspension
^^^^^
You think Bamford's worthy of starting? Wow.
No not for me. Klich, Ayling, Bamford need to
all stay as subs. Bamford needs to priove he's
fit enough first. He's clearly not. And he needs
to mentally get better. He wastes too many
chances. Marsch needs to get Gnonto involved
as a starter asap. And the club needs to finally
address no left back and no goal scorer.
I want to see Struijk partner Koch at CB. They're
the future. As much as I love Cooper. No left
back restricts Struijk's chances of getting time
alongside Koch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes Bamford is worth starting. He had a great first half apart from his miss. He brings others into the game and worries defenders big time.
Second half he understandably tired as he works his socks off up front.
First half we should have been out of sight and Pakace down to ten men.
Second half they came out better and we seemed to tire. However the ref didn’t help us at all. Another inept referee to be fair.

Holy hell. I get Bamford's a fan favourite. And that many
feel personally hurt if PB's criticized. But good god, did
you watch his 60 minutes? He was off the pace, hardly
involved, missed a sitter, was knackered, and played
timid ghosting challenges. He did run around a lot.
I understand he's a ways off due to injuries. And he's
probably still mentally off.
But stop with the 'Patrick is gold no matter what' line.
Marsch even said he was "okay" today. For a guy who
is mr. positive with his squad, that should tell you how
poor PB was. The other 10 carried him today.
Yes, better times are ahead. And I have no doubt he'll
find his form, his sweet left foot, and the back of the net
eventually. Today though, he was poor. And shouldn't
have started. Not yet. Impact sub at the moment. But,
not sure if he'll have much impact for a while yet.
