5 league games between now and the world cup break. 3 at home and 1 of the aways is notts forest. Granted spurs away will be a very difficult match but theres a real opportunity here to get our season back on track with a decent points return from these 5.
Not point beating city if you cant back it up. At least 12 or 13 from the next 5 for me is needed to show weve genuinely turned a corner.

Yes, there is glimmer of hope salvaged after the City win, however Liverpool cannot afford to drop point unless the top3 do too. Liverpool have to better or match top 3 for the next few weeks to have a chance to claim 2nd

GB always makes me laugh when says Liverpool are going to win three on the bounce. Like none of the teams above them are not going to do the same.
They are still 10 points behind Spurs, and Spurs have had a harder fixture list.

Lots of the clubs above Liverpool also have a game in hand. You will lose st Spurs, so they will probably be even further in front. One lucky win over City, hasn't changed your season.

Well he has a point. Of the teams above us currently, you lot play utd, and newcastle, all teams above us. Utd also play chelsea, brighton just drew last night and are away to city at the weekend so its indisputable that if we win tonight and at the weekend we will have cut the gap to at least a few of the teams above us.
