Yesterday I caught the latter half of the above named Radio 4 play. I’m going to listen to the rest online. From the little I’ve heard so far, it’s a powerful, thought-provoking piece of drama/writing. For those who believe sport can or should operate in a moral vacuum, it’s worth a listen, it might change your mind.

Sport has always been political, if you have a platform to speak out for good, you should use it.
Anyone see the spectacle of the FIFA boss lashing out about the hypocrisy of the west? I mean I could probably take some of what he said on board if he didn’t work for one of the most corrupt institutions on earth!
