Enzo Fernandez

Looks like Enzo Fernandez is off to Chelsea then. Gutted. Would have been an excellent signing for us. Works tirelessly and presses well. Eye for a goal and can pick out a pass. Baffled why we weren't in for him.

Bellingham likely to go to Real Madrid or City. Rumours abound that Caicedo off to Chelsea as well.

Hats off to Todd Boehly. Definitely putting his money where his mouth is. FSG take note.

We're going to end up with James Ward Prowse as our midfield signing at this rate 🤣

Nobody is really expecting us to throw around cash like Chelsea but at least some facking risk should be taken

Correct. Whilst we’re not expecting City/Chelsea like spending we should be able to spend more than the likes of West Ham, Spurs, Wolves, Villa and Everton who spent more or pretty much the same as we have over the past 4 seasons.

So where is ffp?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't know if it's true or not but I've heard that because of his age it comes under the umbrella of 'Development' and therefore not taken into consideration for FFP!

Don't know if anyone can confirm that.

Oh and that apart Chelsea are considered debt free since the Bohley take over anyway!

Chelsea now in for Murdyk as well. This is getting ridiculous and it's really showing FSG for what they are. The quicker they sell up the better!

How much was Nkunku?

I read Chelsea got a huge write off from the sale with Roman and in theory can spend hundreds of millions before they run the risk of FFP not that it even matters as pointed out above

As I said on another article the other day, don't assume this is what you want, it's the other end of the extreme spectrum & not necessarily a good thing.

You do also realize if Liverpool became a club that did this you lot no longer have legs to stand on when playing the moral high ground, victim cards - which is Liverpool fans favourite pastime?
