How was that not a penalty?
Never mind the fact we should have won with out one.
Great sense of humour VAR.
A round of applause for VAR

Although it’s hilarious it wasn’t given, you have to ask what the hell is the purpose of VAR?

Exactly.

Was a blatant penalty.
VAR didn't even check the possible foul leading to the first goal, it could've gone either way but it wasn't even looked at.
Pawson is a shocking ref.

It looks more and more like the reason for VAR is to offer more game time for the non officiating refs. I do not know how they deemed that not to be a foul.
Could it be that our great friend Antony Taylor was the one responsible for that non decision?

I thought Potter saying it was a great save was funny.
Today just added another sorry sad excuse of a bad ref and VAR decision to the 100s there have already been since VAR was introduced. I'm sure there are a few Asian betting syndicates that love VAR though, most of us hate it!

Shocking decision. The view from behind the goal shows just how bad a call it was. Clealry uses his palm to block it.

The save of the season, says Robbie Earl !

Forget VAR, I dunno how the referee or one of the linesmen didn't see it? I'm sure they'll have been people on the opposite side of the stadium being partially blocked who'd have seen it.
No point getting worked up. You can only laugh when a decision is that bad

Terrible decision although I remember John Terry getting away with something worse back in the day so it's nice to see it come back around a bit
Not sure what the point of VAR is if it's not going to overturn such blatant decisions. Seems to be doing barely anything other than offsides.
Again the referees are showing how out of their depth they are, the tech itself is not the problem

They let VAR make decisions for them.
The “clear and obvious” thing has to be thrown out and focus on “importance” of decisions.
VAR also need access to all of the angles sky get access to.

Sadly it totally invalidates VAR when a decision that blatant isn't given. What makes it even worse is that the head of VAR made that decision yesterday as Danny Murphy pointed out on MOTD. This wasn't a rookie.
