The Glazers have only ever put £125m of their own cash into the club. In the last 17 years they’ve taken £1bn out of the club. At that rate they’re effectively being offered the next 68 years of income out of United in one go. They’d have to be insane to reject a £5bn offer.

More leveraged debt, an owner taking profits, probably no investment into the clubs facilities or infrastructure, more expensive tickets? No thanks,
