Sources close to the Ratcliffe bid also say that any money borrowed to fund the takeover of Manchester United will be borne by the INEOS group, rather than the club, meaning no fresh debt will be added the #mufc balance sheet.

Does this mean the current debt remains?

“No fresh debt” sounds to me like it will

Because Ratclioffe is a bigger cvnt than the Qataris??

F-ck Sir Jim right off. Couldn’t even make Nice competitive in a tin pot league. He’s fulfilled none of his promises and made a load of mistakes in France. Stay well away.

What’s the bid worth?

Only thing that puts me off Ratcliffe is his failed bid for Chelsea

Hopefully less than the Qataris and Saudis

It’s definitely less than the Qatari’s

That bloke on SSN reckons glazers won’t sell unless they get absolute top dollar for the club

Don’t know that much about him tbh, just that he’s a lifelong united fan apparently, who tried to buy Chelsea

He’s very good at tax efficiency, despite what he might advise others to do…

Chelsea season ticket holder too.

Glazers will probably accept some minority share buyout from another group of American leeches, and we’ll be stuck with them all.

Jimmy Rat won’t be paying what they want, and the rumoured Qatar bid isn’t what they were claiming to want a few month back either.

Interestingly, someone like Ratcliffe would have done more damage to a British citizen than Qatari autocrats.

Lifelong fan, aged 70, reportedly worth >£15bn but wants to route the debt via Ineos.

Ageist but 70 ffs. He's not here for the long haul, right?

Not funding it from personal wealth? Well WTF? I mean MU not disappearing any time soon so why would his billions be tied up elsewhere?

I mean how much income doe he and his family need? At a very conservative 3% even 2/3 of his personal wealth is bringing in £300m a year! Who in fack is able tio spend that?

At 70? I mean hookers are out, hip replacements are <£20k, WTF is going on?

Utd fans actually want the Arab money it appears and whilst giving it large to the Bertie’s are quite happy to run with hare and hunt with the hound.

This is gonna be fun.
