Spurs can suck the soul out of fans and players. We are neither a fun club to watch nor a professional outfit on and off the field.
It's so evident even when we sign new players. They all arrive with smiles and within 2 weeks they're neglected. Bissouma, Spence, Danjuma, Richarlison. Since Poch we've really lacked any form of man management. We reward mediocrity but anything new gets shoved down the pecking order for average teachers pets.
We don't reward form. We dwell on reputation. Must be a nightmare for youth players.
Seeing as we are basically an entertainment venue with a park in the middle we might as well go all rock and roll with our football, screw tactics, just attack and use all 5 subs by the 75th minute in every game regardless of the score.
Fans should be allowed to come in fancy dress, preferably Sanchez clown suits so that he feels at home.
Everytime we try to take ourselves seriously as a club we seem.to inexplicably implode. So let's stop taking ourselves serious.
I hope the next appointment is a crazy left field manager. Gallardo or Glasner. Even better if they can't take pressos in English so they can spare us the rhetorical b@lls4it.

I didn't watch the game but by all accounts we played better but couldn't finish.
We are still 4th so plenty to play for but I do fear for the worse like everyone else.

Yep, I mean to think we had Madueke on our books and let him go is ridiculous. He said in an interview recently that he felt there wasn't really a pathway from youth team at Spurs when he was here (which I find surprising as he was here during the Poch era). So that blockage you speak of doesn't only apply to new players coming in, it applies to young players coming through the academy. To think that in the last 20 odd years only two top drawer players have developed and come through at Spurs in King and Kane is just ridiculous. As much as Chelsea get a lot of crap thrown at them for buying success, they've got a shiiiiit-hot academy system with the players they bring through.
Sandy does this from time to time. He's still commenting on some predictions league so he's still around. Maybe he can't face up to the fact that he's been plain wrong for the last 3.5 years. At least LukaBrasi has the balls to admit when he's wrong. Sandy doesn't. He just disappears and pops up as someone else.

I like Conte because he is a fruitcake who is not afraid to challenge Levy in the press, but like everyone else I do get bored watching us play but if the results are good I will accept it.
We are still "on paper" have a chance for 4th which is probably the best we can hope for.
If Conte is still around in the summer it will be interesting to see if the club will back him with new defenders. Either with or without him, we need them more along with a new GK.
But you cannot trust Levy to make the the right appointment. Look at his record so far lol.

People judged Nuno before he had his squad, People judged Jose before he had his squad. Why shouldn't we judge Conte?? No manager gets an instant squad but ehat we expect from 15m a year is in game management and tactics. Conte has failed on this.

Yep can't argue with that. Making no subs for ages was a joke, then bringing on Moura. Come on man. That is BS, especially after the sheff utd game.
But when I weigh it up. Do I want another managerial appointment under Levy or do we stick with Conte.
I still go with Conte. Give a class keeper and class defenders. Get rid of Son which I don't think he will.
If the result nosedive with the likes of Son, Moura and Sanchez, Dier and him not getting the best out of Kulu, Rico and Porro then he can do one. There is always a breaking point.

This attitude towards Conte puts me in mind of a relationship where your girlfriend has totally lost interest in you and all the while you're still kidding yourself that everything will be great one day and we'll get married and have kids and somehow, in the face of all logic it will work out.

The people wanting conte to stay and are saying we shouldn’t sack him are missing one major point….he clearly wants out !
Yes levy and Enic haven’t given him the tools to utilise his skills but the ship has sailed
I’m still of the opinion if he was so good he would have changed things to try something different but he is too stubborn
He is being out thought and out played by so called lesser managers and worse squads ….we are defensively awful (Romero apart) but we are better attacking than what he is delivering
It doesn’t matter if you him to stay at Tottenham ….he doesn’t want Tottenham ….he would have signed a contract if he was staying ….what’s he waiting for?!
