I'm not sure where the links originate for Poch coming back to Spurs are, but personally, I'd like to see him back.
Anyway, wasn't the Godfather a 3 part series?

The numbers ain’t fine though because Spurs should have bought a CB this window but chose not to.

Oh my god! This is getting tiring.
WHO THE MONEY IS SPENT ON IS IRRELEVANT. WE ARE SPENDING SIMILAR AMOUNTS TO ARSENAL AND LIVERPOOL, JUST NOT VERY WELL AND NOT IN THE RIGHT AREAS, WHICH IS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING ALL ALONG.

What the f** are you on about? The money wasn’t spent because a much needed CB wasn’t bought. F** me i swear you argue for the sake of it. Sandy mark 2.

Unfortunately we have 2 Levy sympathises on here. Well 3 including Sandy. Blame everyone else but Levy/ENIC despite facts staring at them in the face for 23 years. There is no point trying to convert the already converted, as there is no pulling them away from the cult. Utterly ridiculous. Let’s blame Conte though and Jose, Poch, Nuno etc etc etc

I like you Fridgeboy, but you are no different to Sandy and Devonshire. A trio of Levy ball lickers

The original discussion at play was whether Levy puts the necessary cash up. Dev then posted up a detailed account of our spending post and pre 2019. It was proved that in terms of spending alone, we're up there with Arsenal and Liverpool, if not more. That was the debate in play. That's Levy's job. From there it's down to the recruitment team to then spend that money wisely. They didn't. I'm fully aware we need defenders but maybe, just maybe, we shouldn't be blowing 90m on two subs in Richarlison and Bissouma, 80m on three right wing backs and spuffing a load on Bryan Gil only to get rid of him and replace him with a loan who also doesn't play.
The money HAS been there but it hasn't been spent well. That's all I'm saying. That's all Dev is saying. You can't just keep throwing money at the problem. At some point you have to start selling players in order to raise funds to then reinvest in that defence. There are so many players still on our books that shouldn't be. I really don't know what it is you want.

I want a CB mate. We needed a top CB for ages and nobody has been bought. Only Lenglet on loan. Simply not good enough. Now we got rotate s** like Sanchez, Dier and Davies every game 🤦♂️

Anyway, getting back to Poch, I read this little gem earlier from Jack Pitt-Brooke at The Athletic...
"Even though it feels like a nostalgic step, Pochettino's methods and football - I believe - are still more modern than any of the methods or football that Tottenham have had in the last three-and-a-half years since they sacked him"
In other words, we're not 'looking back' with nostalgia, as some have shown concerns about, but looking forward with logical football sensibilities.

Don - you paint me as a ball licker as I don't think your brain can cope with the idea of someones views being outside of 2 extremes.
I have been plenty critical of ENIC and Levy. While i am not in the OUT camp that you are that is not an admission that all is perfect.
I consider that i have a fairly balanced view and that on balance they have brought a lot more good to the club than bad, and more than many owners of some of our contemporaries. If they sold today they will have left the club in a much much better shape than when they arrived.
I find it ironic that you call me a Levy balllicker, implying that i am utterly wed to this regime, when actually i am not. The irony being that your view is far more blinkered and unreasoned than mine.
People need to reflect on the fact that if you took the State/Oil funded clubs out of the equation then Spurs and other teams will have achieved a great deal more. We exist in a time when the playing field has been wholly distorted making competition extremely more challenging. We have been good enough to win stuff and should have done so. That is undeniable. WHile some of the blame lies at the door of the owners, they play only a part in the clubs success on the pitch. This is no better demonstrated than by looking at our last trophy, won by Ramos with a team only good enough to finish 8th. Do we say well done Levy for that appointment. No, it was one of the worst appointments and seasons in the last 15 years, salvaged by a cup win. The following season Redknapp had a much better squad and team and we lost the cup final. Is it a case of well done Levy in 2008 and all Levy's fault in 2009?
There is rarely a single reason why a club fails to succeed or win trophies. You subscribe to the view that it is all the owners fault. I don't, my brain is capable of spectrum thinking, not just binary.

Can we cut to part 4 now, the ending 😅
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What ending?
There is no end to this......as I said elsewhere......
The problem with Pochettino is that he puts up with Levy & ENIC.
If he doesn't change and start making demands and calling the shots, especially in selecting incoming players (of which there will be plenty because there will be plenty outgoing), then you all will be destined to "more of the same".
I can tell you all now...... Kane won't be staying,
Romero wont be staying...
anyone else who's worth keeping won't be staying!
So it won't just be Pochettino...but a whole new squad as well.
GOOD DAMNED LUCK with THAT!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing to say Romero will be more than happy to play for Poch. The squad will be freshened up.
I agree on Kane though. Poch is on record as saying he had to oversee the end times of Raul Tamudo from Espanyol. Saying it was right for the club. Whether he would prefer to keep Kane or cash in would be debatable. Personally I don’t think the club should let Kane go anywhere.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You miss the point. Romero is too good for this disaster of a squad. He is a World Cup winner, and an anchor of that winning team. He can play in a dozen better squads. Why on earth would he want to stay here?
