…………is how we played tonight. Why oh why did we not stay on the front foot against 10 men? Instead we ceded two thirds of the pitch to Everton and they took advantage, then once Moura was sent off they took control of the game. No one shut Keane down and he took his opportunity brilliantly.
I have always liked Moura as a player, but why are we playing him when he is gone at the end of the season, would rather Dunjama came on to get game time.
One action I would like to see is our players not passing back to Lloris and being fined when they do so. Not going to happen but we all know Hugo is a liability in situations like this.
All in all I was extremely disappointed in our performance tonight, lots of passing backwards and sideways and very little movement forward.🤔🤬
Finally I think overall Everton got a draw but probably deserved a win. Think whoever takes over will need to look at a comprehensive change of personnel, especially in midfield and at the back.
Controversially I would keep Dier because I think he actually puts his body on the line and with good players around him I think could still be at the very least a reliable option as back up. Romero is obviously a quality player and Porro has the look of a player who will only get better and become a stalwart in the team.
Goalkeeper is obviously a worry because Hugo has been a great servant I fear his time is up at Spurs.
It will be interesting whoever takes over the team, we have some top quality players who somehow are having the ability to express their talents coached out of them.
Stellini is no doubt a very nice guy, but he is Conte MK2 and that is my big worry for the last games in charge.
This was very hard post to write because I rarely run the team or the club down, however this is first time I have been really angry at our players for their performance.😡🤯
Atrocious…….

Good enough:
Kane
Romero
Son (when played in the correct system)
Bentancur
Squad players:
Richarlison
Dier
Forster
Skipp
Sarr
Royal
Sessegnon
Davies
Need selling:
Lloris
Sanchez
Tanganga
Hojbjerg
Lucas
Perisic
Winks
Ndombele
Lo Celso
Rodon
Jury`s out:
Porro
Bissouma
Gil
N/A:
Danjuma
Lenglet
It is safe to say we are going nowhere for a good few years with all that to sort out, & probably even longer if Kane leaves.
The level of incompetence and mismanagement is staggering, we really are being run by clowns.

I did this the other day, but I'll update it.
INARGUABLY GOOD ENOUGH
Kane
Romero
Kulusevski
Bentancur
BORDERLINE/OK SQUAD FILLERS
Skipp
Hojbjerg
Richarlison
Royal
Forster
Porro
Sarr
Davies
Bissouma
NEED SELLING
Lloris
Sanchez
Son
Perisic
Dier
Danjuma
Sessegnon
Tanganga
Moura
Lenglet
4 good enough
9 borderline/squad fillers
10 simply not up to it
Shocking state when there's not enough half a team's worth of players who are actually GOOD as opposed to just about passable
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you are being a bit harsh on Sarr, Porro, Son & Danjuma.
Son is having a poor time by his standards but I partly blame the midfield and Perisic who tends to take up some of the areas Son likes to run into.
Porro I think will be a valuable team member once he gets used to the PL. Danjuma in the few minutes he has had so far looks to have good skills and Sarr is a better player than both Hojbjerg and Skipp.
I think with Bentancur back and hopefully Bissouma showing how good he was at Brighton our midfield will just need a little tweaking (Maddison/Tielemans?) to strengthen us. As I said above I think Dier gets a lot of stick when he is one of the few players who throws his body on the line.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Son's done. I really think he's not coming back.
Porro and Sarr are unproven but have promise. They're not indisputable first XI quality. Hence borderline/squad fillers, at the moment.
Danjuma is a waste of squad space if he can't get minutes ahead of Son, Richarlison or even Lucas at the moment. I can only assume he's just not very good.

We played with 10 men tonight.
Son was a total zombie. I counted the number of times he actually got the ball ...10. And the one chance he might have had at goal, he was offside and wouldn't have scored anyway. Something has gone very wrong with Son. He simply runs right into trouble with the ball, and whereas he used to get out of bad situations, now he just loses.
I think his career is cooked.

That said, why we insist on playing in our own half, and letting Everton's 10 men run around our penalty area taking pot shots...... is this our tactics Now?
Kulushevski did not have a good game, but he was the only player making a real attempt to get up front and score....and when he did get up front there was nobody to pass to, or help.
Anyone watching this match could be forgiven for thinking the team in blue shirts were Spurs.

*****************
You can pick out 3 players from this game that are worth keeping.......
Kane, Romero and Kulushevski.
If you HAVE to keep more, then......
Dier, Perisic,
God only knows what's happened to Hojbjerg and Skipp, but they did not show up tonight.
As for the rest.......
When Sanchez was brought on...I knew we were in for trouble.
But then I looked at the bench and it was either him or Sarr, maybe Tanganga.
As for Moura.........
Yes, Everton deserved to win.
And the one point we got will do no good at all....we're destined for 6th place.

Some of these players have lost so many times at the club that they just don’t feel it anymore. There’s no consequences for them. Players like don don’t even get dropped. Apart from Kane there isn’t a single player in the squad that would bother me if they left. Not one.

Conte was 100% right, he said `they are used to losing here`, he was bang on the money, the whole club has a losers mentality that has been developed by ENIC over many years, it is ingrained into the DNA of the club these days.
It is incredibly sad what Levy, Lewis & ENIC have done to our beloved club, we are no longer a serious football club, we are just one division of a London entertainment venue with a stadium full of consumers.
Levy can still trouser huge profits without a successful football team, as long as we stay in the PL then the profits will continue to roll in, any European qualification is the icing on Levy`s cake.
That is a huge problem for the true fans who want silverware.
Levy, Lewis & ENIC OUT!

Agreed, it’s Levy that has allowed this malaise, his loser mentality has finally affected the club.
I am seriously worried about next season without Kane - I think we will be like Chelsea, down there scrapping for a top half finish with no obvious ray of light to cling to. The difference being they will spend another half a billion to sort it out whereas we will keep shopping at flea markets

And imagine without Kane? Would be scrapping relegation with this defence

Quite possible Don - our defence is statistically bottom 6
