Still in shock that we have lost the Main man, the legend and gentleman that is Highlandwhite โ Peter Legge.
Just reading the comments on Lancashires post you will see what affection we all had for him and as a fitting tribute we must try to continue with the match threads in his honour. Will never be the same again as he was the glue that bonded us all together, but here goes
Leeds United v Nottingham Forest
The footballing Gods have been unkind to us this year with injuries to so many key players and quite a few dodgy decisions going against us but we have sent our own representative up to sort these Gods out and expect our luck will change.
Team news
Leeds
Still unsure at this stage if our 2 key men will return tonight and obviously missing our 3 long term injured players. Expect the formation to be as the Wolves game but who plays where will be dependent on the avialability and fitness of Wober and Gnonto.
Forest
Will be missing Woods and Yates but have 235 other 1st team squad players that should compensate for any other injuries
We have an abysmal record against them and as with every team who plays us their star player will score the usual goal, in this case Brennan Johnson. 1st goal will be vital in a game that we simply must win. Fully expect our manager has done his homework on the opposition.
I'll let you all work out the possible formations and line ups and as a tribute to our dear friend will give a prediction he was so fond ofโฆ.. 2-1 Leeds
Keep it respectful and lets have a full house on here tonight from around the world
Finally in Highlands own words and prose that William Shakespeare would be proud of

Thanks Earl. A great night and the ground was rocking at full time.
Tinged with sadness of course but Highland would be proud!

Bamford put in a shift. But too clumsy with the ball at his feet.
Didn't get much from the ref, true, but has a tendency to make the most of every challenge against him.
Hopefully he can keep up the work rate, and not get himself injured again. Need him

Bamford played well. Held the ball up well and made some good passes

Was thinking about Highland when the crowd turned their backs in respect, remembering Chris Loftus and Kevin Speight …..felt like that was for Highland too.. Sleep tight …..was always gonna be a Highland 2-1 result tonight

Gracia 10 points from 6 games... not bad for a 7th or 8th choice coach. Far superior to JM in game management particularly. Keep it going JG..๐

Thought 2-1 was really fitting. Some great performances all over the pitch. (Although I thought Ayling had a shocker of a first half).

Thanks for the win lads - it had to be 2-1 for Highland tonight. Up to 13th, but we’ve got to keep winning some more - hopefully the next two home games.

Thought everyone was pretty great. Ayling grew into the game despite struggling for the opening twenty or so minutes. Bamford will obviously get hauled up for his finishing, but his holdup play was great.
Harrison my MOTM, but could easily have been 4 or 5 others.

Saddened to read about Highland but great to get a High-type result of 2-1!
