Is he the most under rated manager of all time?
Never seems to get spoken in the same breath as the likes of Pep, Mourinho, Fergie, Wenger etc
Yet Carlo has managed multiple top clubs, won league titles in all 5 top countries (England, Spain, France, Italy, Germany), multiple trophies, has won the CL 4 times as well
Never hear a bad word said about him either, never seems to fall out with the players or owners, just a genuine nice guy that has clearly had a brilliant managerial career.
Thoughts? Do you think he’s under rated or not so much under rated maybe but under appreciated? As on achievements alone you’d have to rate him in the top 3 of all time

From one prospective he's kind of the ultimate pragmatist. Managers like Mourinho, Conte & Simeone get labelled pragmatists but that's not strictly true, they take pride in playing defensive football & being counter culture (practically Mourinho) which isn't really the same thing. It's practically impossible to tie Ancelotti down to a particular style because it's all about the players with him - he's a tactical chameleon without any set principles I can think of.
Back in the day I noticed his teams had a habit of becoming complacent for long stretches of time without warning, but that's becoming common for different reasons these days so it's not as noticeable. He's gotta be considered an elite manager, and I've definitely underrated him in the past

Oh I got it.... Villareal who are nopt in the comp, wage budget is still less than West Hams.
Dont worry your fellow West Ham fans were equally confused.
Your budget dwarfs the rest of the teams left .... almost double the budget of all the teams left combined.
should be a formality anything else would be embarassing.
Dont know why you dont agree and continue to talk your team down.

infact I just had a gander through your profile.
you hate Spurs more than you love West Ham by the looks of it.
your one of they types...each to their own

His league record is underwhelming given the teams he’s managed. Not a bad number of league titles, but a step below the other top names you mention.
