Which way will the…………

Pendulum swing in the coming weeks?

First it was Poch, then Nagelsmann, Enrique, Amorim, Frank, Cooper,
De Zerbi, Postecoglou, Potter, Rodgers and Kompany which is some list!

Let me start by saying who I do not want: Cooper, there is just something about him that I don’t warm to, apart from him the others would I think do a really good job

Whilst I would love Poch back, the longer this goes on the chances of him being appointed get slimmer by the day.

Of the others my preference would be one of these three: Kompany, Potter and Rodgers.

I personally think that Kompany is destined to be a top class manager who gets the very best out of players. He has turned Burnley from a hoof ball team into a very good attacking football team.
Yes, I know he has not managed in the PL, but then again neither has Arteta and look how well he has got Arsenal playing after three years. What’s to say Kompany could well get the same type of results with us. Before anyone says Burnley were a Championship Club, some people might say that the Championship is an even harder League to manage in.

Potter I think got a raw deal at Chelsea, I personally think that he needed at least the same sort of time Arsenal gave Arteta.

Lastly I have put Rodgers down because he has good PL experience and also likes to play good attractive football. Whilst Leicester have struggled this season due to injuries and lack of money for new players, he did win the FA Cup in 2021 beating Chelsea.

We will all have our favourites for the job, however I do feel the new manager/coach will come from the above list.

What do fellow Spurs fans think and who would you want?

The club will probably blind side us all and appoint someone from a club we have never heard in a country few of us have been to.🤔🤬🤣

Heard a rumour from a source in Reuters it's Kompany

I am 100% behind this

Winner on the pitch, done good at Burnley without spending billions

Obviously no-one is dismissing Bentancur. He's class. He's also got a serious injury that will be a challenge to fully recover from.

Didn't Eze have a similar injury? Took him along time to get back to where he is now.

You don't replace our best midfielder cos he's out injured tho.

You don't gamble on him coming back the same player straight away either. Got to buy a properly good midfielder to come in now, and if Bentancur manages to come back, then great. Spurs have two good midfielders.

When was the last time that was the case

Perfect opportunity for Bissouma to stake a claim.

I think we can cope with Skipp, Sarr(both should progress for next season), PEH and Biss until Bents comes back.

We have more pressing concerns with a new GK and CB's. But it would be typical of us to go out and buy another CM or RB because that's what Tottenham do best.

Oh I don't mind buying another midfielder but why are we talking about replacing our best midfielder? That's dumb

We seriously lack creativity. It’s been far too long since spurs had a decent attacking midfielder.

I’m so sick of two dm’s every week. So sick of defensive boring football.

I miss the Harry and Poch days

Yeah that's idiotic. Give the guy a chance to get fit again first.

In an ideal world we would sell PEH and upgrade but we won't. His contract is up in 2025 so we should be aiming to get max value this summer.

I like him but surely we can get someone abit more dynamic and forward thinking.

No top manager with any kind of ambition will want to come and work for Levy & ENIC if they have other options. Top coaches want to seriously challenge for the top honours, not be scraping for 4th place with limited squad.

The only way a top coach comes to Spurs is if they are at a loose end and fancy topping up their pension for 18 months, it`s an easy gig, get £15m a year and have no pressure to win anything, just finish in the top four with a sub standard squad and when that doesn`t happen get sacked with a large pay off.

ENIC OUT.
