and have a game in hand, which if they win they will be 5th in the league.
Brighton is proving that a good recruitment system is as good as spending millions of pounds, if not better - ask Chelsea this season.
How they keep unearthing gems is what Levy should be asking.
What has happened to the club in recruitment that we have not had more players coming through. The uncertainty on the management front does not help the situation, but we have to surely push through some of these players so they gain the necessary experiences?
Succession of managers who look at now, rather than build for the future have resulted in pushing out of the club any academy players coming through. Marcus Edwards maybe a case in point, but there are more I am sure of that.
On the subject of Brighton, they opened up at will that Wolves defense yesterday, with a brand of football that's eye pleasing and simple.
I would argue that we should be going for Potter as much as any other household name.
Chelsea did not suit him as an establishment. Spurs, and Levy maybe a better alternative if our aim is truly build for the future.
This lack of directive from the management, specially Levy, in getting the management role sorted is hurting the club very badly.
The club is aimlessly navigating ruderlessly. Not having a manager now, will have repercussions on pre-season for next year. The club is not able to even buy any player until a manager is installed in situ?
Yet again, a farcical situation from the baldy. How is this good management?

I dont get the obsession with Brighton. They play once a week. They have no expensive stars on wage demands. We have gems it's just most fans demand prem experience. Same reason some fans didn't give Spence a chance because he hadn't played in prem before or a higher league.
Grass is always greener with some Spurs fans. We have talent in our squad they are mainly attacking and we haven't had attacking coaches since Poch. Alfie Devine and co should be playing more often.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Considering their resources compared to ours and the style of football it is easy to be impressed by them.

Brighton are currently flavour of the month. Lots of smaller clubs have one off decent seasons, then drop off. Wolves and Burnley are two such examples.

De Zerbi has improved them. Potter wasn't even that good with the quality they had. They play a different ball game to when Potter was in charge.
They already have secured the signing of Pedro from Watford and buying other players for their playing philosophy.

They are being applauded for how well they are managed footballing wise, so rightfully imo
At the other end of the scale, is Spurs and we are being laughed at, rightfully too for that

Probably. Potter laid the ground work, De Zerbi is ripping the benefit from it, and has stamped his own mark.

Yeh, but guaranteed in two or three seasons, Spurs will still be in or around the top four, Brighton will probably be fighting relegation. Seen it all before. Smaller club has a season or two in the limelight, then vanishes.

Sandy is right regarding Brighton. They won’t be sniffing around any time soon once the vultures pick apart their team. That being said, I don’t think Spurs will be anywhere near the top 4 for many seasons

Not sure about Brighton, but I sadly agree about Spurs with you
