The evidence from yesterday would suggest not.
Might have made rangers hard to beat but as yesterday showed you need to have a plan to win the game as well as stopping the opposition but once again he did what failed in the last 2 games against us.
Also doubtful he can attract players the way his old boss could.
Some managers can build squads like big ange and some guys can come in and make an impact like beale but those guys dont seem to be able to build things.
Is beale upto the job of building rangers?

I don't particularly think we need to in all fairness. Celtic's intensity is not for 90 minutes, the strategy is very much to try and put games to bed as early as possible.
When it happens its job done. When it doesn't, it gives teams a chance. I think that will be Beale's frustration over the games he's managed, that games have taken that pattern but individual errors have allowed Celtic a way out.

So the opposing team doesn't force your players into these errors?
That's one way of looking at it I suppose.

Forced errors happen yes but not sure any of the recent ones were forced by a press or anything Celtic did? I can think of 4 under Beale that come in to the basic "schoolboy" category.
Think you're taking the discussion a different way though, it wasn't intended to be critical of Celtic and more why I don't think the Manager is to blame for the outcomes.

we're not rapid for 90 minutes but we're sharp, we never seem to switch off and i think rangers spend so much energy trying to deal with that when they are not yet capable.

I know the OP is looking for nibbles but its a fair discussion point anyway.
No doubt re Beale for me. Other than the cup final I don't think he's done much wrong, the issues are familiar ones that pre date his arrival and think he's done as much as he could with what he has.
He had a bit of a free hit this season since coming in halfway through, he will be judged on what he does in the summer and how we perform next season. But Rangers need someone who can coach and develop players given the financial constraints we are working to and he is as good as we could get in that respect. Looking forward to the rebuild and where we are post summer.

there seems to be a familiar pattern in these games lately.
rangers come out in the first half and try to stop us playing, and go into half time behind.
they come out in second half and have a go and cause us problems but ultimately fall short.
i'm fine with that, but kinda feel you should just try and play your own game from the start.

...or maybe cut out the mistakes
There is also the fact that we have been giving away the first goal in nearly every game we play, let alone in the old firm matches....so seems, that pretty much is our game

Yeah agree Stevie, its not specific to the OF games. We lost 2 to Aberdeen the week before, 2 to St Mirren the week before that and 3 to Celtic before that.
There's an argument he's been here long enough to sort the defence in some kind of structure but honestly its difficult to fault the set up. We're not being cut open or facing loads of chances each game, it just seems we have moments where individual mistakes are punished and it is killing us. I read the other day 40% of shots we have faced this season have resulted in a goal. That's pretty ruthless albeit it highlights we should have addressed the GK position last summer.

Hearing rangers are taking a leaf out of celtics books and scouting the far east for prospects.
Beale is frankly trying to sign players from wuhan fc in the hope of another shutout title.

Not sure I’d be signing players who can’t say the team’s name.
