Forget the coronation, the Golden Palace (no, not the take away on the A449) is the place to be on Saturday as the royalty of west midlands football clash at the Mol.

Villa's impressive run of 9 games without defeat which launched them as high as 6th in the table came to an end with defeat to Man United at Old Trafford last week and halted their progress towards Europe.

So how do Wolves bounce back from a 6 goal humiliation at Brighton? Difficult to say but I suspect it may start with putting players back in their familiar positions and possibly a first start for Daniel Bentley after another (let's be kind) inconsistent performance from Jose Sa. Pedro Neto could start again after coming through last weeks game unscathed.

It would take a pretty dramatic turn of events to drag Wolves back in to the relegation pack, but unlikely things can happen so a point or three would be very welcome, but the performance and attitude need to be far better after last week's return to the dark days of Autumn and Lage and Davis.

Goldi's prediction: 1-2

At least DJ, Bute, Deja, and the countless others he has hounded off the site in recent months and years might return now?

Pretty incredible stats those.

I bet Bute would have argued that Mick would've kept Blackpool up had he not been sacked.

Season ticket renewal prices are out, a painful 12% increase for me compared with last year, but that was partly due to me getting the long awaited Olympiacos refund taken off. Think there was also a one off loyalty discount too.

Will be bunging it on the DD this time I think.

Sky have lost the plot with football, I may be wrong but think Wolves only on three times last season ?
United must have had half their matches live, influence of the Yanks I suppose.
