He would be an expensive backup who won't get much game time. Pointless signing.

Mac Allister, Mount and Gravenberch in.

Milner, Keita and Ox out.

We need energy and quality and fresh legs in midfield. Don’t get tricked by the last 7 or 8 games. It’s a long season and we need some fresh impetus in this midfield 100%.

Macallister and mount as incoming would be underwhelming for me.

I think caicedo is much better than Macallister, especially if jones is going to be more attacking. Kind of agree with Danny Murphy on thay point. Mount I think is just not an upgrade to what we have full stop.

I'd take rabiot for free, with ox, keita, firming going big wages won't be an issue. Very good defensively and better than what we are losing, and a Liverpool fan.
Gravenberch would be decent but I'd prefer xavi Simon's. Him and gakpo tore arsenal a new one. Drastic improvement in his game and looks a real gem.
Macallister seems pricey but him, rabiot and simons would be unreal value and strengthen us with multiple options too.
Don't want mount at all tbh. For the prices quotes I don't see the value, especially when there are better alternatives imo

Much as I like Rabiot (sometimes) as a player, he and his mother, seem extremely difficult.

Not a Klopp player.

Caicedo MuCh better than Mac Allister ? As big a fan i am of Caicedo i’d say Mac Allister is a better player eith a harder to find skill set in a, think more important for what we need too though we could really use both and both would be excellent signings.

Said before i always liked mount, but for us and being in the last year of his contract and Chelseas situation 20/30m would be a gd deal. If we can get him for that itd be good value with resale value and he’d improve the squad add legs and be available so a huge improvement on ox keita etc. Hes proven and andvery experienxed dor his age having played a lot of games and big ones too on the biggest stage cl finals euro finals etc.

Gravenberch for the right price might not be bad either, looked a talent at ajax and ive had taken him then when bayern did. Big step up in leagues though so again risky depending on price.

I dont see it though, esp with us not being blessed with many disposable players to raise funds. Just cant see us spending much, itd be against what fsg have done so far with us especially under klopp. Can see us getting one player for big money then maybe a cheap swuad player like mount or gravenberch for 20-35m thatd be it. Anything more id be in shock, barring a huge unexpected sale.

I think the hendo/elliott role is the biggest upgrade we can make in our midfield. Bajcetic can play in any of the 3 mf roles equally well i imagine. Fabinhos gaining some form back and jones is starting to impress and make that position his own. For that reason id pref Mac Allister over caicedo, Mac Allister is a bit like Bajcetic in that he can play any of the 3 roles in our mf equally well. He played deeper vs Utd and was brilliant. Then again Caicedo probably can too and he covered fullback last few games for Brighton. Both just wonderful players that we’d be lucky to get.

But id be more happy with say Mac Allister + Ugarte than Caicedo + mount/gravenberch.

Then if we got a talented cb, left footed pref itd be a brillaint window imo.
