Make that 2 out of the 4! And I don't think that is a negative thing Roy. I am sometime ashamed to be in the same virtual room as some of the people on here...but there were more than 4 of us on the old BBC 606... π

Just back from Wembley, I see the bitterness has just started to subside.
I bet that live thread was a mad house.

Pity the train strike didn’t keep you all out of London.

Now I'll be honest here, I love a free hat just as much as anyone else, and I love a bucket hat too. But the combined effect when the half the stadium is wearing the same bucket hat is utterly trippy. I was weirdly reminded of Minions or some kind of CGI generated bonkers cartoon army. To be fair I imagine for many the bucket hat was the best bit. Mind the gap raglets.

The bucket hat references went right over my head (pun intended) until I watched it back on MOTD.
I assume they were free as non of the tramps were wearing them on the way to the stadium.

Think I was the only blue online, posted infrequently though, no idea how you can watch a game like that and follow a live thread, although I did have the added spice of a recently mobile baby crawling round picking everything and anything up π apparently match thread attendances are all that matters though π€£

That scene in Alan partridge where he goes into the Alan shrine?! π
Bucket hats seemed like the brainchild of some London based marketing twonk desperate to prove their Manchester roots π

They are the true fans though, a genuine supporter should judged on the flavour of Doritos, the size of the Pepsi Max bottle and the position on the sofa assumed when watching a game, especially a home game.

You mentalist! Not sure if you have seen Being John Malkovich but there is also a scene there that was not dissimilar!
I don't blame the fans to be fair, it was free and the sun was beating down but I bet they regretted doing it once the footage was seen. Looks surreal!
