Thought United played well tbf. Dealt with the City press and worked the ball up the pitch nicely. You all know the problems you have at the top end though, and aside from a soft penalty giving you a lifeline, we looked comfortable at the back… Up until the Spanish Jedward came on who looks a good player and probably should have started.

Probably a few to many gaps to plug this summer to be in a proper title challenge next year… like your defence, but GK and CM needs work and not many options on the bench either.

I just hope De Gea leaves. I completely hate him. He ruins every season by being terrible. Leeds had a similar XG against us at OT and he conceded twice. Sevilla similar and he conceded twice. Terrible keeper.

He’s just not right for your system now, which must feck his confidence up even more. But can’t blame him for either today really, too much space for first goal and defensive errors for second too.

The 2nd goal was a weak shot bounced into the ground right next to him. De Gea started moving after the ball travelled around 15 yards.

Second goal was poor from him but de Gea wasn’t the reason we lost. Always felt like City had an extra gear to go up. Take the loss on the chin.

Lol De Gea virtually had nothing to do all game and the 2nd goal was an easy save for any goalkeeper. He should have caught it but he started moving when the ball was about to go into the net. It was a terrible shot. Reminded me of the West Ham goal, a terrible shot goes in. Ten Hag needs to be ruthless as half this squad is terrible.

Even Ten Hag now implying to basically not concede any chances and concede 2 soft goals basically implying terrible keeper.

gratedbean I knew before the game our 2 biggest weaknesses is we can’t finish sitters and have the worst goalkeeper in the competition and we would dominate so it went exactly to plan. Still don’t know why Ten Hag keeps playing him when he is at fault for nearly every goal we concede. Chelsea scored a long range goal recently.

Chelsea goal we conceded was a De Gea howler and West Ham goal was a De Gea howler and today another De Gea howler all long range shots. Oh well, just hope Inter Milan win now. Why the hell did we get rid of Lukaku.😂

De Gea had a howler in the europa league final as well. Only shot he had to save in 120 mins a weak shot bounced at him and he let it in. He has cost us like 7 trophies in last 6 years by just being terrible. Oh well I hate De Gea. Only player I hated at Man Utd as he is so bad.
