Disappointing day / Good season overall

We'd have all taken 3rd and a bit of silverware before the season started for sure.

As for today.....we gave it a decent go and definitely didn't disgrace ourselves but ultimately they are just a better team than us which we all knew before the game. Thought we handled Haaland well enough but sadly we allowed Gundogan the freedom of Wembley and it cost us.

Garnacho was absolutely brilliant when he came on. Walker didn't look comfortable with him at all. Hopefully a star is born.

Need to sign 3-4 new players just to stay in that top 4 next season though. Ideally a top keeper, striker and midfielder (looks like being Mount)

Well played City. They are a hell of a team even if I don't agree with how they have acquired it. I don't see anyone stopping them next season either if Pep sticks around. When you have Laporte Alvarez Foden and Mahrez who didn't start the game it really does show how far ahead of everyone they are. They'd all be starters for us too and most PL clubs.

Long journey home now and holiday mode activated.

Glazers out.

KTRFFH.

We gave them a tougher game than Real Madrid did at least. 😂

Think if your front players had had a better game, you really could have won that today.

Yeah maybe. I was surprised how ineffective you were given the blistering start tbh. You didn't create loads of chances like you normally do. Even the goals were half chances at best.

Our forward line is just not good enough though. We badly need Kane or Osimhen this summer.

City still a good way ahead of us but not something we didn't already know. I'm just happy we didn't roll over and give up.

It’s just hard to give city any credit given the massive amount of rules they’ve broken.

UEFA caught them red handed but due to their deliberate delaying it was all time statute barred. Fortunately the FA don’t use such stupid bylaws.

So they should throw the book at them and show this circus up for what it is.

Barry Bennell would be an innocent man if it was down to time statutes like that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Uefas wasn’t all time barred, only one element of it was. Everything else spanned into valid seasons. Our delaying didn’t have anything to do with that element being time barred either.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you admit you deliberately delayed the investigation to avoid punishment

Odd thing to do considering you have nothing to hide wouldn’t you say?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Eh? Think you need to read my comment again…
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You literally wrote “our delaying”

So my question was why did you delay the investigation given your fans and publicity statements always insist you’ve never done anything wrong

Surely you’d just present your case and get the albatross off?

You’re doing the same thing now with the PL. only guilty people try avoid their day of reckoning

And I literally wrote our delaying had no bearing on the punishment, yet you took that as thinking we delayed to avoid punishment.

Do you honestly want it explaining why we did it? I’m happy to if so but given it forms some of the basis of our argument against Uefa, all I’d be doing is telling you what’s already there for you to read directly already.

Some games he has. We were a shambles at the Etihad and Anfield in the second half.

He's doing well for year 1 though. He's actually done better than Pep did in his first year at City so that's something I guess. Not that I think he will ever reach that level though.

A world class striker would transform us into a good side for sure.

I wouldn’t compare the two like that, it’s very different journeys and the one thing I do think he could have done more on this year was prioritising play over results, I get why he hasn’t though.

Striker, another midfielder and probably a gk is the priorities I imagine.

It has been a good season overall. And when today I think we played pretty well, we were just up against a truly exceptional team. City are unstoppable in their current form and we made them work as hard as we possibly could.

Garnacho was superb when he came on, I agree. He's a special talent and hopefully will help lead us to better things

Its been a long day today. United did as well if not better than we could have realistically expect against what is the best PL squad of players ever purchased and assembled. Quelle surprise.

Garnacho showed us again that he is the focus of our future and that United now need substantial new recruitment all around him throughout the squad, through the in and the out door, if we are to progress our momentum next season.

So we now need an announcement about the takeover, right now, before the club can move on. Are they going to stay and let the war continue or will the parasites just fack off. I don't really care anymore who takes us on. Just get rid of the Leeches.

We need to be rid of the following players if we want to be competing for the top trophies.
De gea
Sancho
Awb
Maguire
Fred
Weghorst
Martial
Eriksen

Not a single one of them would get in cities team, yet we find them starting in our first 11 on a consistent basis.
They're barely top 4 standard.

Without rashford this season we would've been near Chelsea.

Awb is probably the best in that list, and even then he suits a team that parks the bus, because the guys a fking calamity when he leaves his own half.
